Rodeo, rodeo!

What a quirky way to spend an evening! It had all of the hoo-haa of a Major League Baseball game including anthems and all but you are literally 4 feet from the action. I had been... read more

So I grew up in Chicago an my dad and I always watched Western movies. I learned how to ride a horse because of that. Well, a stable horse that they use to teach children how to ride a horse is a far shot from riding a pissed off bull. And if you want to ride a bull in a... More

What a quirky way to spend an evening! It had all of the hoo-haa of a Major League Baseball game including anthems and all but you are literally 4 feet from the action. I had been to a large rodeo previously and this small scale event was superb value - from the over the top announcer (frooooommmmm Laaaaaaas Vegas, Nevaaaada)... More

We had never been to a rodeo before, so weren't sure what to expect. We went after a huge rain, and the place was a muddy mess. The bleachers were soaked, but we had a blanket in our car so we could dry it off. But we were so dirty when we left, mud caked on our shoes, up the... More

While in Yellowstone check out the Yellowstone Rodeo. Its a small rodeo, but a great time. My wife and I visited here when we were in Yellowstone this July. We also added on an hour horse back ride through the woods. Very nice and peaceful. The staff is excellent and very friendly. The rodeo is good and entertaining. I would... More

This is our third time to the rodeo and we enjoy it because it is not commercialised like the Cody Nite rodeo (and we saw two animals killed in the Cody rodeo). This is attended by locals - friends and families of the contestants - and everyone is much closer to the action. We got some great photos and movies... More

Good family rodeo. Pretty amateurish but fun if it is your first time at a rodeo! They involve children in a calf chase which is quite amusing. On just about every night in July and August.

My kids and I really enjoyed this. There was lots of variety so nothing lasted two long. They even had a calf scramble for kids. It was a small town rodeo and so worth it

Creekside Trail Rides offered a great deal to ride a horse through the backwoods and attend the Yellowstone Rodeo. The ride and rodeo tickets were reasonable. Our guide, Brandon, was great. After our ride, we bought some grub cooked by the rodeo staff and sat back to see a fun bunch of rodeo events. We would highly recommend it!

Our grandson was involved with chasing the calf to retrieve the red ribbon and it was the highlight for him.

only 8 dollar entry fee, great experience if you have never been to a rodeo before. Bring food to the site and watch a fun show.
