The Imax is different than we expected. The prices were high, but the educational value was good. We would go back.

Saw a first release movie (which is a different review) but was hard to watch in spots because the size of the screen made the movie blurry. The gift shop area maybe the largest and most diverse in the area. Staff was friendly and nice. Popcorn and drinks of course...you are at the movies.

A great way to learn about the History of Yellowstone Park, its geography, animals and human experiences. Much like the Grand Canyon Imax, this is very helpful and interesting. shot really well and on such a big screen it really captures just how amazing the park is, even if you have been in Yellowstone or will never go. This is... More

Maybe I had unrealistic expectations, but I thought they were going to tell me the fascinating story of the park and how's and whys of all of the geothermal features. I still can't figure out how they did it. How did they make such an interesting topic sooooo boring?? I was pretty annoyed that I wasted my time and money... More

Totally agree with another reviewer: the Yellowstone movie is an absolute waste of money and time. Our group of 11 was so disappointed. If you want souvenirs, then this place has a bunch of them. If you want a quality experience, go to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center next door. Your ticket is good for 2 days, so you... More

Unless the weather is bad, why would you visit Yellowstone and spend your afternoon in a dark theater? Really?

Nice to see a movie on a rainy day! The movie we saw was about Yellowstone National Park. We enjoyed it and the gift shop very much!

We did not have time to watch the films they had about Yellowstone, but we did watch a feature film and it was really good and the theater is great.

Very disappointed in yellowstone film, mostly about people, not the park. BUT the bear film was very worthwhile. Suggest wolf and bear center instead of yellowstone film.

We visited Yellowstone National park over July 4th weekend. After 5 days inside the park, we headed out and stayed in West Yellowstone. It was a Friday night; we decided to watch a Hollywood feature movie. Little did we know, they were running a Friday night special over the summer; $5 or $6 per person. We couldn't believe it since... More
