This video is so well done. A great way to learn about Yellowstone and this area of the United States. Comfortable seats.

If you have time and want to slow down after many hikes and sightseeing, it could be a place to be. We watched a documentary, which was just ok. We didn't have time to watch a full length movie, but the theater is quite impressive with very large screen (almost true IMAX) and good sound system.

The Yellowstone film is beautiful and a great introduction to the Park and the area. Not only does it provide a great historical summary about the Park but it also gives some insights into modern day Yellowstone. Worth a visit on your first evening in the area to get oriented to Yellowstone

Be sure to get in line early so that you can snag a seat at the very top in the middle so you can get the full affect. Yellowstone has absolutely beautiful scenery taken from a helicopter flying over the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and the Falls in summer and winter. Purchase the DVD so you can view it over... More

Stopped at the Yellowstone IMAX Theatre to see the movie on the Yellowstone National Park. Everyone enjoyed it. The theatre did not sell tickets till 10 minutes before the showing so the majority of the patrons, did not see the beginning. Not sure why they did this, only a very small group watched the entire movie which was very disappointing... More

We saw the evening showing of Lewis and Clark on our Yellowstone lazy day. The movie was relatively short, which might be a great thing if you have smaller children, but packed a fair amount of information on the famous expedition into shiny package. The theater was clean and modern, and the staff friendly and helpful. The lobby is essentially... More

My 13 year old son and I went to see The Minnions at this theater. It was awesome! We had never been to an Imax movie before and now we are spoiled! A great place to go for a relaxing evening!

We arrived back in west Yellowstone very tired and cold one evening- it was end of end of July!- and decided to watch the iMax movie about Yellowstone. The theatre shows a variety of interesting movies so best to check times if you only want to go once. The photography in the one on the history of Yellowstone is outstanding... More

Definitely enjoyed the Yellowstone movie at the theater. Employees are nice, The movie gives an overview of Yellowstone and its history. Only an hour long...could have been longer and told more. Very enjoyable. The rest of the place has every tshirt, magnet, post card, piece of tourist stuff you could ever want.

This Imax theater was across the street from my hotel in West Yellowstone, MT. We went there for the movie, YELLOWSTONE, It is now called "Yellowstone Giant Screen" on their website but while we were there it still had the Yellowstone Imax sign, It is not the totally wrap around screen that they have in Boston's Museum of Science, but...
