On Monday, we went on the evening tour-emphasizing finding and observing as many different animals as possible. We hit the jackpot! We observed three grizzlies, huge herds of bison, and a magnificent bull elk as well as many other species of flora and fauna. Our guide, Connie, was very knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts with us. Even though... More

Our family, which includes boys ages 9 and 13, booked a private tour with Yellowstone Alpen Guides for our first day in Yellowstone. We had such an amazing experience! Our tour guide Leslie took us to several geyser basins where she shared lots of interesting information with us. She then took us to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. We like... More

We really enjoyed the trip to Old Faithful in the snowcoach - Jan 2013. Guide Conny Cusick was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we really got to see everything. I would definitely use them again.

We couldn't have had a more amazing day. We loved our guide, Scott, and travelling around in the Bombardier is the only way to go. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. We saw tons of wildlife and enjoyed (optional) hiking from Old Faithful backwards through geysers. This was my first trip in the winter and I don't think... More

We went into the park on March 5th, a group of 7 from Boston, NH and Atlanta. Mike is a fabulous guide. Very funny and friendly. The Irish gift of conversation that we all appreciated mixed with a long historical knowledge of the park that I think would be tough to find. We were the last coach out of the... More

We had a fabulous and informative tour with our guide John in a Bombardier. He is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and helped us spot many animals and birds. Our teens enjoyed the adventure and the playfulness of his conversations as well as the information. He kept us going at the perfect pace. Great job.

Had an excellent tour! The little red coaches are a valuable part of the park history, and the cost was great. Ted in the office helped us make the reservation, and jack was our tour guide. Both were extremely knowledgable, made for an unforgettable trip. Go Alpen Guides!
