We knew the rooms would be small, so that was OK. We had our own bathroom, which was important to us. The hot springs pool was excellent.

The hot springs were developed back in the 1800's and have been updated as needed. Beautiful pool and great even hotter pool too. Very clean and staff is friendly. Wonderful gift shop also :)

First time I came during the day in May and used both pools and found them both very warm. Then kids showed up and it got quite noisy, not the atmosphere for a good soak in the hot pool being as it's right next to the other pool. Redeeming factor is that there is a saloon and I went in... More

I visited Chico with some family from the area in late August 2014. We had a few drinks in the bar and swam in the hot springs pool for about an hour. The experience was good. The people in the bar were great and the drinks were priced right. I'll definitely stop by for a drink and a hot soak... More

Me and two friends did a seventeen day road trip out west. We had a blast..almost got ourselves killed..and generally found a place to drink every night..we had just finished up Yellow Stone and were heading north when we saw Chico Hot springs on the map we looked it up and gps'd the directions...thinking a night there in the water... I loved the hot springs. The hot pool was mighty hot! It cost for a family of four $22 for the day to go swimming! Recommend morning swim as there are few people, it's quiet. Evening is more of a party atmosphere (and with little ones, not really our thing)

I visited Chico many times for dinner and events when I lived in Bozeman, and it was so fun to return and stay overnight this time. The Warren's Wing off the main lodge is quiet, modern, and very convenient. To get some air flow on hot days, open the front room door and chain it with your windows open. The... More

Food, lodging, and soaking are all over the top! We highly recommend spending a day or two at Chico to re-normalize your inner being. The property provides great access to Yellowstone, Gallatin River, and amazing local hikes. My wife and kids (and me), can't wait to return to a very special place.

This is an easy drive from Livingston Montana where we have been staying. It is very relaxing and unpretentious. The cost for seniors is only $3.50 and we paid one dollar for a towel. Don't forget to bring your bathing suits if you decide to go there. The grill is quite good with excellent hamburgers and other moderate priced fare.... More

It is exactly as represented. It is a wonderful historic building with beautiful furnishings, a delightful hot springs experience, family friendly, and so close to Yellowstone National Park that it can easily serve as the base camp for excursions into the park. I only got to stay one night and the only rooms available were without a private bath. That... More
