Home Ranch Bottoms is a family-friendly cafe, bar and campground located next to Glacier National Park. Next door at our "sister" property, Polebridge Ranch Cabins, you can find cabins and cottages starting at $50/nt and walk to our cafe for dinner and drinks. If you are camping you are already there. We have hot showers for our campers and for walk-ins. All this is in a valley called the North Fork, thirty miles north of Columbia Falls (45 miles from the Glacier Park International Airport near Kalispell, Montana). Home Ranch Bottoms becomes a highlight and backcountry home of your adventure to northwest Montana. Join us for dinner, drinks, beer tastings, wine tastings, huckleberry frostys, music and fun. Bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, etc. and entertain the patrons. Share your days adventure in the park with other travelers and locals alike. The North Fork of the Flathead River is at your access along our road for twenty five miles in either direction. We are in the middle of a destination for fly-fishing, river rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, backcountry excursions, mountain climbing and more. Bear (black and grizzly), moose, elk, wolves, mountain lions, wolverines, deer (white tail and mule), bald eagles all can be seen on your visit to the North Fork. We are located north of the Camas Road entrance to Glacier National Park and five miles before the Polebridge Ranger Station entrance. Come and camp with us or visit for food and libations(full bar). It will contribute to making your trip an extraordinary vacation.

We were sooooo lucky to come upon The Home Ranch Bottoms on our way back from Polebridge. The food is out of this world, in fact, we thought we were in Texas. I had the Tuesday night chicken taco special which was light and just the right serving size. My hubby had the brisket sandwich and it was loaded with... More

We decided to visit Bowman Lake and Polebridge while vacationing at Glacier National Park. The trip to Polebridge is a bit rough, but is so worth it. The area is beautiful, and make sure you stop at Home Ranch Bottoms for lunch or dinner. We had the brisket. It was fabulous. Shawn, the owner, is from Texas and obviously knows... More

If you drive past HRB just to get to Polebridge or the Merchantile, then you just missed what would have been the best part of your journey. You won't find nicer folks, better ribs or colder beer anywhere. We just spent 4 days at the adjacent Polebridge Ranch Cabins ( the Bowman cabin). We started and ended our days at... More

The Merc is iconic -- the heart of off-the-grid Polebridge. The store was welcoming with homemade baked goods, coffee, and a wood stove to warm you. I'm not sure if we would have gone, except that the GTTS Road was closed and the road to Polebridge was open. The best tip we can give (for this and Lake Bowman) is... More

Stopped by to stretch our legs and try the huckleberry ice cream. Which I might add was delicious. The patrons and employees were very friendly. Clean little bar and restaurant. They were smoking ribs and it smelled great.

We stopped on our way to polebridge and the lady was SO nice! She was by far the nicest person we met on vacation. I would so want to be her friend if we lived there! Anyway we grabbed some coffee and huckleberry pie and it was delicious. Be sure to stop it is worth it!

We stopped by on our way back to camp from Bowman Lake and were hit with some amazing smell. When we asked what smelled so awesome, we were told it was "Taco Tuesday!" Having just eaten, we had a shot of Huckleberry moonshine and made up our minds to come back the following Tuesday (on our way up to Kintla... More

We had a long painful day kayaking on kintla lake and the kitchen at Polebridge was closed. The folks at this oasis were a godsend. They opened up for us and the story has a happy ending. Fantastic food especially the bbq ribs and pulled pork. Have had bbq all over including St. Louis KC Memphis this was as good... More

This was a small bar and grill but great food. I felt like I was in a western movie in the Polebridge area.
