If you are I'm the Missoula area and have a day off I would defiantly recommend the carousel... All the horses have been hand carved and it is the second fastest carousel in the US which is cool!!!

A must visit for anyone with kids. The carousel is just fast enough and a great place for kid parties.

Check out this gem of Missoula, Montana. Located in a downtown park, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the fresh air...the Carousel's history exemplifies what passion and community can do when positively channeled. A real treat to experience.

Rides are so very reasonably priced. This is a one-of-kind carousel in a lovely riverside setting. All the horses were made in Missoula & sponsored by different community groups, schools & businesses - truly the idea of one man made possible by the work of many.

this is the fastest moving carousel I've ever seen. Wild. Really a Wild West Experience. They ask you to belt yourself into the saddle, and it is really a good idea that you do so.

A great setting in a park next to the river. Kids love the carousel as well as the play area behind it. A walk down to the river likely will turn up folks riding cayaks on Brennen's wave. A great area to relax and hang out. Close to downtown and great places to eat. Parking is sometimes difficult, especially during... More

This is a very nicely refurbished carousel. It was a community project that turned out well. It is inexpensive to ride and is enjoyed by all ages. Free just to stop and look.

Outstanding activity for "children with parents." Picturesque river valley, surrounded by snow-covered peaks. Carousel located next to the same beautiful river floated by Lewis & Clark. Clean, great gift shop, and well run. Disagree. This is not your usual Carousel. We don't find that it goes too fast, but rather fast enough for children to Truly enjoy the ride, with... More
