This beautiful carousel, completed in 1995, was the brainchild and vision of a local Missoula cabinet-maker, who carved much of the structure himself and also trained an enthusiastic team of volunteers to assist in the project.

I go here often with my kids (2 & 4). The young kids can sit with an adult if they want. :) if you sit on an outside horse then you can reach the 'rings'. If you get the golden ring you get a free ride. :) My kids love it and I do too!

We stopped here on the way back from Yellowstone To Seattle to let the kids blow off steam. It was super cheap and the park was great. Totally recommend this for any family.

There is a bit of a line on a Saturday but it is worth it - the kids love it! Make sure to visit the gift shop to get tokens to ride.

Cute carousel and playground for kids. Pretty reasonably priced. The carousel goes quite fast. They have a little gift shop that is fun. This Carousel is surrounded by walking paths and parks.

A Carousel for Missoula is a great place to visit if you are going through Missoula, even if you don't have kids to ride the horses! The animals on the carousel are beauifully carved and the entire structure shows the care that went into the process. Plus, it is right next to the river in the shadow of the M... More

Definitely worth our stop to ride the Carousel, but also to enjoy the area close to the river. Great picnic place and we loved the ride!

A fabulous carousel ride! Fastest one I've ever been on. You have to strap yourself on or you can't ride but don't let that deter you. It's great fun for all ages but if you're expecting a leisurely, slow short ride, guess again. The prices are ridiculous, 75 cents for seniors - makes you want to leave a donation to... More

This is a beautiful colorful well done carousel located downtown. Plenty of parking. Adjoins a park for nice weather days.

The carousel is beautiful and fun. It's nice that they have horses that move up and down, ones that are stable for younger kids, and two chariots with benches which worked well for sitting with infants and toddlers. The staff did seem a little bored and disinterested. Unfortunately you have to buy tokens for the ride in the gift shop... More
