This is a really nice carousel and the story of how it came to be makes it even better. It's located downtown by the Clark's Fork river in Karas Park.

Went by myself and it was nice to read the history on the carousel and the handmade horses .. The kids there were really enjoying themselves . It is free to look. It a minimal charge for riding ( which is normal )

This is such a beautiful carousel that is actually quite fast, and it brought back childhood memories that now I have recreated with my children.

Fast carousel with a long ride. Wanna try for the brass ring? They still play it here. Small gift shop with some reasonably priced things inside. Fun playground next door. River walk and river by it too. Stop by and have some fun.

The carousel is so fun to do at any age. It is faster so if you get motion sick easily I wouldn't recommend it but the dragon park next to it is super nice for kids

It's the fastest carousel in the world, built entirely by volunteers. As a carousel afficianados, my kids were impressed. First of all, it's fast. The horses have real tails - not wood. You can try to grab brass rings from the dragon's mouth as you ride - winner gets a free ride! Plus, for just 75 cents, you get a... More

A really neat old-time carousel built and maintained by volunteers. Rides for 75 cents for children and seniors, $2.25 for adults. Ride it and see if you can catch the gold ring.

Beautiful horses on the carousel. Our children (ages 10 and 8) loved the ride! It was speedy enough for them to enjoy and they has a lot of fun trying to grab the rings. Can't beat the price either- 75 cents per kid! Added bonus was a great playground just outside to let the kids burn off more energy!
