I always take a stroll down here when in town. Sometimes they have lunch in the park or some music going on . Now you can see kids "surfing" in the river. I always like to see the Old Milwaukee RR station across the river.

Caras Park has a wide verity of things to do from a nice walk along the river to watch birds to watching the kayakers at Brennan's wave. In the summer there is always something going on. From Out to Lunch and concerts and local brew fest. And lets not forget there is the caracal for Missoula is right there. in... More

This is a very nice park very close to Holiday in and right on river walking path. Very nice to just stroll along and on Saturdays they have the farmers market in season. Not very far from the vintage carousel attraction. Nice and clean and right along the river and close to lots of shops etc

We were at the park for a car show. It was a rainy Saturday but the location is great. It was close to the hotel (Holiday inn downtown) There is a farmers market on Saturdays,a carousel and nice walk along the river.

Caras Park offers so much for all ages. We have had out of town visitors who just loved the Carousel and Dragon Hollow. The proximity to the river is a big draw and the opportunity to picnic in the park makes a visit perfect. It's a treat when you there is a festival or event in the park offering food... More

Just strolled down the park and enjoyed the statues and information about the area. A really nice place to chill out on a beautiful day like today!

.Located adjacent to Missoula's downtown and the river "that runs through it", this park serves as a recreational venue for bikers, walkers and families with kids. There is a carousel and ice cream parlor, a bandstand and other points of interest, all of which make this a place for people with diverse recreational needs, from a morning constitutional for a... This was a highlight of our time in Missoula -- we loved the farmers market on Saturday morning (lots to see, taste, and do there!), checking out the Carousel and playground, and just enjoying the people (so friendly!) that were wandering through the park. Parking will cost you, except for weekends.

We enjoyed walking and biking around the city and this park was a good starting point for exploring. Last night (Friday) featured a good live band and today there was a large farmer's market.

The park appeared to be a hangout for the pot smokers and drunks. Not many people in evidence. Watched one guy trying to surf the wave, but an old drunk kept mumbling at the ladies and made them nervous.
