Though we do offer shorter lesson rides for the novice rider, our most popular ride, and the one providing the most fabulous scenery in the shortest amount of time, is our morning or afternoon ride. We also offer a half-day horseback ride, which includes a snack; and a full day trail ride, which includes a picnic lunch at a spot overlooking the Flathead Valley. The Western Barbecue Dinner ride is our personal favorite. Enjoy a late afternoon horseback ride to the mountaintop, followed by relaxing around the campfire while we prepare a traditional western barbecue. « less

If you are looking to ride a bit while in Kalispell, then you need to see Cecil. His horses are beautiful and gentle, and his crew is informative and professional. My 11 year old daughter and I enjoyed the two hour ride this morning which takes you through the woods to the top of a mountain with breath taking views... More

We have had the pleasure of spending a lof of summer afternoons with friends at Artemis Acres. Cecil Noble and his crew of wranglers are friendly and patient with riders. The horses are well trained and in great shape. The vistas breathtaking. To complete the experience you should include the steak BBQ!

I can't say enough good things about Cecil and his horses. After talking with several outfits, we chose Artemis Acres because Cecil sounded like a "real cowboy". Is he ever. He was helpful, accomodating and our family, two young daughters and both parents, enjoyed an hour long trail ride in the snow through BEAUTIFUL Montana country. Great views and lots... More

Not only was this fun, but very relaxing and nice views. Joyce booked us and she is very friendly on the phone. Cecil, is the Cowboy..and he is a real cowboy and has been for over 40 years. He knows his stuff. I had Frankie and my wife had Rusty...both very gentle. They know the trail and had no problems.... More

First trip out to Artemis and enjoyed a 2 hr tour through the foothills south of Kalispell. We were concerned with the air quality with all the forest fires in the area, but the smoke was all in town and on the horse trails it was clear and sunny. Our wrangler (Alex) was great with us and very helpful with... More

Last week, we did a half day ride with our group of 4. Alex was our guide and took us on a great ride through the hills to a nice lake. The highlight was seeing a mother black bear with her 2 young cubs! The ride took us to a lookout with great views of Flathead lake and the rivers... More

My husband planned this trip for us as vacations get a way. I am an absolute horse lover, and he wanted to be in the mountains...what a beautiful blend and awesome place to stay. We stayed for a week, horseback rode every day - always a different trail each time and did I mention the gorgeous surroundings and view, really... More
