We were looking for things to do in the Glacier Park area. We saw the town of Hot Springs, MT and through other reviews decided to give it a try. It was a pretty good trip. The springs were nice and clean. It was a very relaxing afternoon. There were several springs with different temperatures. Great way to spend a... More

Don't let the exterior shy you away from Symes. Looks like and old bath house but well kept once you get past the exterior. 1 "traditional" type pool and 3 outdoor HOT pools. 1 more inside but we never made it in there but to just open the door. Everybody was friendly (staff and patrons). WE stayed in one of... More

Rating 3 star because of History and Architecture. If you are interested in history and building structure, you will enjoy Symes and the drive to get there. This is an Old Montana hot springs and is dated. The town dates from an era when hot springs were in vogue and there were 3 hot springs in the area. The town... More

Thank you for the reviewer that said if you want an authentic 1930's experience, this is it. So I knew that the place was not modern, although it is clear that all the money they have spent renovating has been on the exterior pools. The people that run it have lots of character, which adds to the appeal...but if you... More

My husband & I had reservations for a "cabin" We arrived to a run down facility, lots of people hanging around that didn't appear to be using the hot springs. We were shown were our cabin was located, off sight by a short drive. Upon arrival at our cabin, which was scary to look at, we entered to find an... More

Our go to place for a spa getaway! They have good food and retain an old time atmosphere from right out of the thirties.

My wife and I had been on the road for several days and done some hiking at Glacier National. We were driving towards Mt. Hood when we saw the sign for this spa. We were looking for a break and hastily decided to come here. The place looks like it could have come out of the early 1900's. The setting... More

We have been coming to Symes for the last 3+ years and our first visit was amazing and we couldn't wait to go back with our kids. We have recommended it to our friends and family. Each visit back has been more disappointing the the last visit. We have been putting up with the world's WORST beds and terrible service... More

We come to soak in the pools at least four times a year. If staying overnight, try to get a cabin or house. You will want to bring some extra supplies to use. Also, bring in your food supplies with you. The local food store is very over priced and hardly ever open(closed on Sundays). We enjoy the hot water the... More

Soothing and relaxing to soak in their 3 pools, each at a different temperature. Want privacy? They have inside tubs to soak in. If you are looking for a 5 star resort, this isn't it. If you want to revisit the 60's this is more the style. Can't speak to quality of rooms as I didn't stay over BUT, I... More
