The St. Helena Cathedral is a local icon that cannot be compared to any attraction in the mining country. It is the quintessential example of how the wealth and prosperity of the west was put to use. I attend The Cathedral of St. Helena every weekend. I highly reccomned it to anyone who wishes to see the most magnificent church in all of Montana. From the moment you see it in the distance, you know that it is going to be beautiful inside. As you climb the huge stone stairs up to the large doors, you can see into downtown Helena behind. As you step inside the cathedral, there is a small room with a couple statues, but the grand room is just inside.... more
