This cathedral is very beautiful and awe inspiring. The pipe organs are great. It is a place you must experiance on a sunny day, the stained glass is spectacular!

The cathedral is located walking distance from the Carolina Inn B&B we were staying Inn. The proprietor suggested we visit the Cathedral I'm glad she did. The is the most impressive house of worship I have visited. It contains massive marble columns, impressive wood work and more than 40 spectacular stained glass windows.

I was on a day tour of Helena and we visited the Cathedral. WOW! What a lovely place. I'm not Catholic so didn't know much about the meanings of things so I received an education on all things Catholic. I took lots of pics. Will figure out how to share someday. Want to visit when there is a musical performance... More

Worth a visit for the restful atmosphere and the numerous quality stained glass windows. A pleasant 10 minute stroll around will be enough. Lots of easy parking at the back.

We walked from our hotel to this location , it is hard to explain in words how great it looks. The stain glass windows are really cool. This is a must to walk around.

A nice place to see for the church enthusiasts. Went there just in time the mass ended so it was still open. Don't know if it's open everyday.

Pros: Some very nice architecture, both inside and out. Cons: Awkward to visit as a tourist when someone is practicing organ.

I enjoy visiting cathedrals and was drawn to this one because of other reviews about the organ music on Sunday mornings. Since we were in town on a Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, we visited twice. We saw the setting sun through the stained glass and returned in the morning to listen to the music. It's a beautiful building inside... More

Love that this is such a surprise in such a small city. Great self guided visit. This cathedral rivals those in much larger cities.
