This trail is mostly paved with blacktop and extends past the waterfalls around Great Falls along the Missouri River. It is used by walkers, joggers, skaters and bicyclists and a variety of wildlife can be viewed along its path. The trail grows every year and even has dirt trails for mountain bike enthusiasts. It meanders along the Missouri River, goes... More

Stayed a couple of days in town and walked this trail both days. I wish I had something like this in my town. Walked several miles along the river. This is just plain nice.

This is s great walking/jogging/biking trail running for miles on both sides of the Missouri River. The trail takes you past small islands, dams, Gibson Park, nesting waterfowl, the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, Giant Springs State Park, and is enjoyed by young and old alike. This is a top attraction for locals.

Wonderful trail for walkers, bikers, runners, and strollers. The mighty Missouri River is right at your side as you travel the trail around the community of Great Falls. Visit the World's shortest river, a fish hatchery, view cliff swallow, picnic, fish a pond/rive, view dams, geese and other water fowl as your progress the trail. Fun place for romance, family... If you just traveled into Great Falls and you need to stretch your legs, you can do part of this trail along the river. The bird viewing was great - but I'm told you need to travel further out of town to get to the best parts of this walk.... Do so, because sticking to the Great Falls area made... More

Walked the trail a couple of times during a recent business trip. It runs behind a number of motel so it's literally right there. The weather was beautiful so it... More
