Strange place

Had an interesting trip to the Vortex. Some parts were a bit hokey but there were some strange things as well. Had a good time and was worth the price.

The vortex depends largely on the guide. The house is cool, but everything after that dragged out too long. You have to give these guys credit for creating the illusions that "appear" to be unexplained.

I will leave it up to you to decided if the vortex is real or not. I don't believe there is a mysterious vortex but it was still fun to take the tour just to see the visual tricks and experience the leaning house. There is also a great opportunity to do some shopping in the gift shop. The guide... More

I have went to the vortex twice. The first time was with smaller children then a few years later when they were 15 and 12. I would not recommend taking smaller children as it can really throw your equilibrium off. Both of my boys were not well for the remainder of the day but as young teenagers if was much... More

The tour guide was super cheesy, talked way too fast, but knew his canned speech like the back of his hand. The place itself? Just plain weird and kitchy. Kind of expensive for optical illusions. The vortex, if that is what it really is, gave me a headache that lasted all day.

My family had a blast at this roadside attraction right outside of Glacier National Park. The grounds were beautiful, but the tour was fun too. They of course are selling this place as a natural phenomenon and my hubby and I enjoyed watching the other members of our tour group eat it all up. We love this type of kitchy... More

I've been to the Vortex House since my kids where teens. They are now in their 30's and I still enjoy stopping here. The gift shop is far better than the old one, in fact the whole experience is better. They have guided tours with the Vortex tale and its just plain fun to try to figure out what is... More

I have been visiting this attraction for years, and used to like it better when you were able to go down to the house by yourself instead of in a guided tour. The tour lasted a long time, and I felt like it was stretching it a bit to call a couple of the last few areas a "point of... More

Tour guide had a good personality but actual time spent to see the vortex area was minimal. We were told we would be able to go back to areas of interest but another tour was busy in the areas that we wanted to revisit. Loved to large rocking chair in front of location. Got a great family photo. Gift shop... More

What an amazing place. We had Bill tour us through the attraction he had tremendous amount of knowledge on the place. If you think its hocus pocus you will be in for a surprise. It was fascinating the crooked house was unbelievable. It makes you wonder about what exists out there. I asked about animals going in or around the... More
