Great tour. Get to see much of historic Butte. I am bias I will admit. Trolley stops in front of my house on granite st and talks about it. Always fun waving to the tourists. The divers/guides are always informative and fun.

The trolley tour took us on narrated tour of historic area of Butte. We also went to the Berkeley Pit. It was well worth the $15/person ticket for a 1.5 hr tour. Guide was very informative on history of the town.

We are so glad we took this tour. Driving from Kalispel to Bozeman, this was a great mid stop. This 2-hour tour was perfect and Vera the Tour Guide was fantastic. She is a native of the area and you could hear the passion in her voice for her love of the area. The tour is a must because you... More

My wife and I were staying at the KOA in Butte, Montana. They have trolley tours of Butte which leave from the Tourist Information Office beside the KOA campsite. The tours are approximately 2 hours long and we paid $13.00 each for seniors rate. Butte, Montana has a great history of Copper, silver and gold mining and was once a... More

I love the Trolley ride! However, if it's hot outside it's also hot inside the trolley. The windows are all open so the breeze is also hot!!

We highly recommend this fascinating city tour of the old historic district before you do anything else. This place is full of old mines and has a very interesting history. The tour guides are very personable and seem to enjoy sharing the history of this town. At one time in its heyday there were over 100 mines here and over... More

The trolley tour was very informative about an old city. The age of the buildings and the upkeep were a very pleasant surprise. We only passed through and next time plan to stay longer. The city is overseen by the Lady of Rockies. The tour was most interesting and informative about the mining out west.

From what I understand, there are 2 main drivers for the trolley this year. Both drivers are teachers in the local schools and have great background on the area. As part of the tour, you are able to stop at the berkley pit viewing stand and than get the tour of the historical part of town.

Have you ever met a school teacher that did not love the sound of their own voice? Me either (captive audience). Chris is a local history teacher. That said Chris, a Montana native - not a Butte native (but his wife is), has a love for this town that is infectious. Because of his involvement with the local generations past... More
