We are so glad we took this tour. Driving from Kalispel to Bozeman, this was a great mid stop. This 2-hour tour was perfect and Vera the Tour Guide was fantastic. She is a native of the area and you could hear the passion in her voice for her love of the area. The tour is a must because you... More

My wife and I were staying at the KOA in Butte, Montana. They have trolley tours of Butte which leave from the Tourist Information Office beside the KOA campsite. The tours are approximately 2 hours long and we paid $13.00 each for seniors rate. Butte, Montana has a great history of Copper, silver and gold mining and was once a... More

I love the Trolley ride! However, if it's hot outside it's also hot inside the trolley. The windows are all open so the breeze is also hot!!

We highly recommend this fascinating city tour of the old historic district before you do anything else. This place is full of old mines and has a very interesting history. The tour guides are very personable and seem to enjoy sharing the history of this town. At one time in its heyday there were over 100 mines here and over... More

The trolley tour was very informative about an old city. The age of the buildings and the upkeep were a very pleasant surprise. We only passed through and next time plan to stay longer. The city is overseen by the Lady of Rockies. The tour was most interesting and informative about the mining out west.

From what I understand, there are 2 main drivers for the trolley this year. Both drivers are teachers in the local schools and have great background on the area. As part of the tour, you are able to stop at the berkley pit viewing stand and than get the tour of the historical part of town.

Have you ever met a school teacher that did not love the sound of their own voice? Me either (captive audience). Chris is a local history teacher. That said Chris, a Montana native - not a Butte native (but his wife is), has a love for this town that is infectious. Because of his involvement with the local generations past... More

Trolley/Bus leaves Chamber of Commerce Visitor's Center off Interstate for first 2 hour tour at 10:30 and we were able to get tickets without reservations! Driver is "lively, personable and quick with a great love, knowledge, and interest in his hometown, Butte! We saw and heard about all the highlights and lowlights! Definitely gives an overview, insights and facts! Recommend... More

We had a great time on this tour. The trolley leaves from the visitors center and tours uptown Butte and the Berkley Pit. You get off the trolley at the pit and the tour guide tells a lot about the mining in Butte. You see a lot of the historical places in Butte including an old brothel and the homes... More

We were only 'passing through' Butte, but arrived in time to catch the last trolley tour of the day. We have always found such tours helpful for either a quick and informative overview when time is limited, or to help set priorities when we have more time. Butte turned out to be a surprisingly interesting city. In addition to the... More
