Jammed traffic has somewhat hurt downtown Bozo. But the au courant shops and restaurants keep 'em coming from California and other states, hoping for a glimpse of the old West, which is rapidly giving way to coastal trends. Food is overpriced and generally lacking in authenticity (I was served ketchup and yellow mustard with an egg roll). Ethnic food is... More

We've been to Bozeman 3 times now and always enjoy a stroll down West Main Street. Our favorite gallery is Altitude--It's a small space, but filled with impactful photograpy, paintings and jewelry. Always worth a stop. Also, try the CO-OP for lunch--fresh, local, tasty and with seating inside & out--always a great place to sit and enjoy some good eats!

Bozeman would benefit in adding boutique downtown hotels or bed/breakfast. Nice downtown area with attractive public library and the Country Bookstore and Ted's Montana Grill (Buffalo steaks).

The Main Street and downtown are filled with many shops and restaurants. I live in bozeman and walked in downtown once, which was interesting to see, especially when filled with happy people :-) but didn't do any shopping because there are other stores with lower prices in the town ;-)

There is a lot to see and do in Downtown Bozeman. Lots of restaurants, bars, art galleries, retail shops, library, parks plus a lot of activities. During the summer there was the Music on Main concerts, where a few blocks of downtown are closed off and a band plays plus food vendors set up on the streets. There is also... More

Great variety of shops, restaraunts and bars. You can start at the co-op in the 800 block and work your way to downtown. They also have a location downtown but smaller. Rent a bike at sports chalet and roam around. Within a mile of downtown are 3 microbreweries and one cider house.

we are from the midwest (well barely- Cleveland Ohio). We were impressed with the small town feel and fun of Bozeman's downtown. Our son can walk to restaurants, markets, library.

This is such a beautiful town and the downtown area reminded me a lot of downtown Napa, minus the winter weather. There is a lot to see and do and discover. I look forward to our next visit to Bozeman.

Downtown Bozeman is amazing. The main street has many restaurants and shops including coffee bars and sporting goods and bike shops. It's amazing that the size of town has this much to do on their Main Street.
