Wow! What a great town! So much history and great old buildings to view while walking downtown! It was nice to see them keep the old architecture in place. You can see the history of Bozeman while in downtown. The people are happy and welcoming! I was also privileged to witness the Memorial Day Parade! What a great job they... More

Very friendly and walkable, even in the rain. Many blocks of diverse shops, restaurants and pubs. Beautiful, historic buildings.

This California City Slicker was pleasantly surprised by Bozeman's charms. Although I can't fathom while some of the locals were running around in shorts when it was 40 degrees outside, I completely fell in love with Bozeman. There are a variety of shops with friendly shopkeepers, including a terrific independent bookstore with a great section on Montana fiction and non... More

Strongly recommend visiting Bozeman, especially in May. It's still cool -- in the 30's to 60's -- but you can best appreciate that it is in a valley with snow capped mountains to South and North. Because Montana State is here, because Big Sky is nearby, there are a lot of good restaurants and a wide variety of stores. We... More

Walked downtown with one of my daughters previous teachers. Had some good tea at a tea shop on main east of N. Tracy. Good visit also. Pleasant sunny day.

We visit Bozeman as often as life permits (12 times in last 15 years). To me it has the best balance of Montana beauty, friendly people, no congestion, Cowboy roots, beautiful new college, with an amazing number of shopping places and really good restaurants. The downtown strip is a wonderful mix of Fishing/outdoor sports related shops, antique and artsy shops,... More

Although I was hoping for more considering all the hype in the tour books, I really liked this town. Clean and compact, there were lots of interesting shops with employees who were welcoming and eager to help with info or recommendations of things to do in the area. A good place to spend a few hours or grab a bite... More
