I went to college in Bozeman about 18 years ago and pass through town every few years. Over the years I've noticed that downtown is catering more and more to tourists. In fact, it feels more and more like downtown Jackson Hole at each visit. Downtown consists primarily of restaurants, bars and trendy touristy shops. If I had to guess,... More

Very eclectic downtown area. Lots of historic renovated buildings as wells some brand new ones. Kept clean, lots of beautiful hanging flower baskets and I love the way they have decorated the traffic control boxes. Many art and jewelry galleries (don't forget to check out the unique Montana Yogo Saphires), many sporting goods businesses, including a few bike shops, real... More

We wanted to stop in this area to get an idea of what Bozeman is like. The downtown shops are eclectic and interesting to visit. Lots of places to window shop and little coffee shops and different places to visit. The folks were friendly and the historic buildings were fun to see. We really enjoyed visiting the downtown area.

Bozeman is a great little city with a good vibe and friendly folks. We enjoyed walking around downtown and visiting Montana State University

Most every kind of store, restaurant, and bar is on one side of Main Street or the other within a ten-block walk.

Great place to browse and shop. Lots of interesting stores and historic buildings. Easy to spend time browsing in all the different stores, and some good coffee, ice cream, restaurants to stop at.

As expected, lots of cute, trendy gift shops and art galleries, all with nothing but cowboy art, of course. Plenty of opportunities to purchase huckleberry everything, the flavor of Montana.

The downtown area has many interesting shops and restaurants. I especially like Silver Annie's jewelry store and Mackenzie River Pizza. Ted's Montana Grill is more expensive but excellent. Try their bison steak.

Very clean college town with lots of resturants and cool bars. They have refurbished most of the old buildings.
