Dropped by here to get up close with grizzly bears and was amazed about this place. The area where bears roam around mimics a wildlife setting. Bears looked healthy and well taken cared of. The gentleman who was givjng spiels about the bears was knowledgeable and you can tell how he truly cares about the bears. It is worth the... More

On our first visit we were lucky to arrive when Brutus had just got out, and as an added bonus Casey was on site that day talking with the patrons. This time when we arrived the bears had been out a while and were still active, but just starting to become a bit lazy. They bring the bears out in... More

Bears were in good health and excellent living conditions. You could tell the trainer really cared for the animals and was highly knowledgeable about them. Bears were entertaining and very interactive with the people and trainer. Would recommend and attend again!

We really enjoyed the Grizzly Encounter. They usually have 2 bears in the earlier hours then change out to two other bears in the afternoon hours. They offer a second day with the price of admission but we only saw the afternoon bears. The bears were personable and active. We enjoyed the relaxing time we spent there and got several... More

In May, my husband, my parents and I visited Montana Grizzly Encounters when we were staying in Bozeman. Well worth the trip! It was a short car trip down I-90 from where we were staying in downtown Bozeman. The tickets were only $7, and they were good for 2 days. What a great deal! The exhibit is a large grizzly... More

Its a walkway overlooking 4 walls and 2 bears. That's it! Overcharged to walk in and drive out 5 minutes later. Either consider it a donation or don't go at all.

My husband and I, along with our 7-year old son, visited this attraction and had a wonderful time. We felt the staff were very knowledgeable about each of the bears and informative about their habits, etc. We were glad this place existed as a sanctuary to rescued grizzly bears, and the bears seemed content with their surroundings. The first day... More

. . . the grizzly bears had more room. But these are rescued bears. And a bear enclosure must be secure, so big ones are very expensive. Be happy these grizzlies have been saved. And you will not get such a long good look at them anywhere else. The very best part is the staff. If you have a million... More

We stayed and watched the bears for about an hour. They ran, ate, and layed in the shade. It was fascinating to watch them froma safe distance. They went about their business but were keenly aware of our presence, too. Very knowledgable people provided a lot of information and the bears, their diet and how they live daily. Quite interesting... More

The positives are the guide was very educational, funny, and did a good of explaining everything about the bears. It was great that they didn't put any pressure on the bears to do anything other than be themselves. The bears were very close to the fence and were not shy. Brutus and Sheena were active and Brutus tried to engage... More
