We're so glad we stopped. After being disappointed at not seeing any bears in Yellowstone, we stopped here on our way up to Whitefish. We got to see Maggie and Jake while there. Jake is huge!! Love how they know their names and respond to the caretakers. It was very educational and you can tell how passionate they are about... More

This is a great attraction, I guess particularly for non-Americans, in terms of getting close to grizzly bears. We arrived at the right time to see two grizzlies in the enclosure, and then another two being introduced, including the giant Brutus. We also saw them being fed. Great fun for all the family and lots of great pictures taken. The... More

Much smaller than expected. They have only 2 bears at a time. Very informative and they are doing a great job considering how expensive is to run this facility

My husband had wanted to visit for quite sometime so we stopped on our way back to Yellowstone. It was a great experience with caring volunteers who are very knowledgeable. I learned a lot and my husband was in his element-- he lives bears! Would definitely recommend. This places exists on donations and can always use the money to continue... More

It was wonderful. The owners are obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about their bears. The animals are rescues and would not survive in the wild. I would highly advise any travelers in the area to go and get educated before doing any hiking or camping. Very nice all around!!

It's nothing fancy but I read the reviews before we went, so I knew what to expect. When we got there 2 bears were laying in the shade sleeping. They were not active and being in the shade made it impossible to get any pictures. Of course I realize that what the animals do or don't do is totally up... More

It was great for the kids to see Brutus who they have watched on TV. The workers have a lot of knowledge and are very willing to share.

This sanctuary for rescued Grizzly Bears is superb ... but the best part was the " instructor" Bill who gave us a complete naturalists overview of Grizzly behavior and the ways to stay safe hiking in Grizzly country . He is a wonderful teacher and answered all of our questions --- even showing us how to properly use our bear... More

I truly enjoyed my time spent here.....everyone was very knowledgeable- biologically/ethologically/ecologically/etc..., and the bears are unbelievably beautiful- and treated with true respect and care ....I wish I had more time to spend there, but sadly, was just stopping over for a brief period during a 10hr driving day....I will definitely return in the future to spend more time with this... We saw Maggie and Jake when we visited in the morning. Brutus was going to come out later, but we couldn't stay. Really enjoyed all the information we received as the owner/operator was there to answer all sorts of questions and tell us about these bears and grizzlies in the wild. We were there for 1-1/2 hours watching, reading information... More
