The new baby bear was adorable. This place is a up close no cage experience. My family loved our stop here. The price is not expensive and the staff are friendly and great at what they do. Thank you all for the great time

I Love taking the kids I watch to Grizzly Encounter, and they get so excited. The staff just keeps on talking and telling educational & Bear Life stories that I enjoy listening to while guiding my kids safely. Just have to go back now and see the new Baby girl, Bella, before she gets to bid.

The bears are incredable. They are healthy and very content. The trainers are extremly knowledgable about the bears and their habits. Ask any question and you will get an honest answer. The bears are used in films and are stars. The facility is small, but the bears seem to be happy. The entrance fee is minimal, just $7.00 per person... More

I was very impressed with the knowledgeable facilitator as we viewed very content Grizzly bears!! Even though the location is small, the Bears seem extremely healthy and happy. I love the fact that these magnificent animals have been rescued from deplorable conditions and proceeds go to their direct care. Even though we live in Denver, we bought a year long... More

I have to admit that I was surprised at how low the entrance fee was - I expected to pay $30 to $35 each and it was $7 each!!. I was also suprised at the look of the entrance and size of the entire facility, I figured this would be a big, flashy place with lots of things to sell... More

We love bears so we were very keen to visit the grizzly encounter. We especially wanted to see the famous "Brutus" as we have seen a few documentaries he has appeared in. They let two bears out at a time. The place is quite small, but we know that these are rescued bears and they owners gave these bears a... More

So basically, I didn't quite like that. We had the chance to visit all 4 bears (they changed them at 2 pm), but it was really disappointing to see the Bears in that small area. And they were fixed (!) so that they can't breed? I think it's brutal. It takes no more than 5 minutes of to see the... More

We had such a good time visiting Montana Grizzly Encounter. We stopped by on both days our ticket could be used so we could see the 4 bears that were on display - we wish we were still in the area to see the youngest's debut. Bill was great and answered every question we ever had about bears and bear... More

The good: it's not often you can watch grizzlies that close, and the ticket price, which is inexpensive, gets you in the next day too. The not-so-good: it's small, with only two bears out at a time, and if you visit during nap time, there's not much to see. On the whole though, we'd recommend it. These are all rescued... More

Since you are sadly unlikely to see a bear in the wild any more, this is a nice way to see them safely and educate the public on misconceptions. It's also nice that they could be saved rather than destroyed and that they are given little tasks and adventures and not over exposed. I did feel that the enclosures for... More
