From dinosaurs, to space, to Yellowstone, this place covers it all and is well worth the visit. We took a 10 yr old and 5 yr old, they both loved it. 5 yr old daughter was enamored with the Native American section. Not the cheapest place- maybe $14/adult, but well worth it, open until 8 PM, but the outdoor farm... More

Very impressed with the amount of stuff to do and look at at this museum. Our 11 year old was asked to play old time games in Living History Farm, we had to tear him away. Blacksmith was very knowledgeable. Dinosaurs we incredible and worth the price of admission alone. Loved the planetarium too, wish we could have seen all... More

Stopped here after leaving Yellowstone and was very impressed. This is a must see for anyone in the area, especially with kids. Do not miss the planetarium, either!

We had an afternoon to kill prior to flying out of Bozeman not long ago. With no prior knowledge, we stumbled on this museum while driving around the MSU campus, not far off of the Interstate. I am doing everything I can to tell everyone about what a great museum this is! We walked in, unplanned, after enjoying the large... More

This a great museum especially in a small town. The planetarium and dinosaur exhibits were highlights. Would highly recommend for any family with kids.

We are not big dinosaur buffs but figured we needed to stop while in the area. The dinosaurs were impressive as were the interactive space exhibits. There really were quite a few things included for a very inexpensive admission fee - dinos, space exhibit, indian exhibit, children's exhibit on Yellowstone, planetarium and our favorite, the pioneer farm! We have seen... More

I am an adult who loves dinosaurs. But even seeing actual dinosaur bones couldn't get me interested in this museum. Lots of great stuff here....and some well done exhibits but an awfully lot of cases. Lots of reading. I did overhear some docents taking kids around and I was tempted to follow them as they made out interesting. There is... More

I'm kind of torn... On one hand, this museum had a lot to offer -- our family spent quite a bit of time at the Living History Farm, especially enjoying the time we spent with Charles, the Blacksmith. This was fantastic -- we learned a lot during this portion of our visit. The interior exhibits, including the dinosaur exhibit, Native... More

My husband recently went here and LOVED it! Lots of information and exhibits about the dinosaurs! Went early on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded. He enjoyed a 2 hour visit. However, when the space exhibit opens; extend your visit. He also loved the Planetarium-a must see! Would highly recommend this museum for all ages!
