We stayed and also had dinner here with friends for my husband's and my birthday. We have always enjoyed dinner here and have stayed stayed several times in the original lodge. I have to say that the new addition for dining and accommodations are even better! This place is great for a quick "vacation" from the stresses of life.

We have eaten at the Gallatin River Lodge on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is always top notch and I cannot say enough about the quality of the food. The wait staff is very personable and truly care about your dining experience. We just had Thanksgiving brunch at the Lodge and the food was amazing.

After every skiing trip to Big Sky, I check out of my mountain digs, hit the Hampton Inn in Bozeman so to avoid 4 AM blizzards while trying to find the airport's single sign to catch one of those going-east 7 AM flights, and have dinner at this marvelous institution(Attn: Belgrade municipal government - quit being so damn cheap and... Out of town, but worth it. Good menu selections. Have never had a bad meal. Eat here a couple of times a summer.

What an awesome place. The Gallatin River Lodge is a beautiful spot, just outside of town. The lodge itself is clean, well-appointed and full of charm. We had a fireplace in our room and a full-wall row of windows that looked out over fields full of snow and grazing deer and even the occasional coyote. And the beds were insanely... More

We had Ryan as our guide and he was awesome. He put us on the fish, told us how to catch them and we did. Everything was taken care of, quote simply the best fishing ever.

The only item we ordered that we unanimously liked was the pan seared gorgonzola scallops. The rest of the items on the menu lacked flavor or just missed the mark.
