Zoo Montana is not really a "zoo" in the traditional sense of the word. It does have a few big animals, but really it's more like a nature park, which is why my kids love it! It's small size makes it easy to cover in a few hours (not the kind of overwhelming experience that trying to see all of... More

Beautiful space while maintaining the historical building that housed the county jail. Impressive art collection and new permanent exhibit, "Boundless Visions," which showcases important Montana art. Friendly staff and cute restaurant inside the museum turned our museum visit into an occasion!

Although they've made many positive changes in the past 2-3 years, it's still too limited to call it a full zoo. Depending on the season, it's a lovely walk!

Wonderful small family friendly zoo. Be sure and see the bear cubs. Watch a blacksmith work if you are lucky.

Small but worthwhile. Love to take the grandkids. We visit the animals and then play at the playground.

I visited this zoo today. I have never been here before, but I understand they are slowly but surely making improvements. The staff was friendly. All the animals were active when I was there, so I got to see them all. I was impressed with the Grizzly Bear enclosure. This is a decent place to spend an hour or two.

Great nature walk. Could use better signage near main entrance. Alot of improvements and additions in progress.

Zoo Montana has great trails (handicap assessable) and wide enough for families and strollers. They are several events throughout the summer, like Shake it for Kenzie, which invites various musical talents from around the state to raise money for a good cause. The exhibits are fun and their is a variety of animals and critters to view.

My husband and I enjoyed our morning at ZooMontana! It was uncrowded and we had a great view of all the animals. It's obvious that they're doing lots to improve the zoo; we're excited to see the changes when we return next year. It's not terribly big, but the layout definitely invites visitors to spend time here! The only slight... More
