I love this place. I want to say that before I say that I wish there was more to take in here. It's not a flashy zoo, or a well-manicured garden, but it's just enough fun to be worth exploring.

Went here as an add-on to the family trip. I wasn't sure what to expect (having only been to two zoos in my life and both of them being a fairly large size - Edmonton and Calgary). It was smaller than I thought it'd be but it was still a nice feature to Billings. It was a very hot day... More

We are honored that you chose us as a vacation add-on, thank you!! I am happy to hear that you had a good time and that you enjoyed the grounds. We have worked long and hard to get the grounds back from near disaster 4 years ago, so your words mean a lot! Safe travels back home and we hope... More

The zoo is very well laid out to visit all the exhibits. We loved the natural environments that the zoo provided for the species that were kept there. Multiple viewing platforms made it easier to get a good look at the animals no matter where they were in their large habitats. The staff were very friendly and eager to share... More

Very fun beautiful zoo. I thought the grounds was incredible with all the flowers and other thing they had everywhere. The tigers were very active and playful with us which was a bonus. Lost of different things to do within the zoo. I'd tell anyone to go here.

We visited the Zoo at Billings while traveling with our families including grandchildren ranging in age from 2-10. It was perfect for the three and under crowd, not too long, easily walkable. They enjoyed the farmyard the most. I was a little surprised not to see much wildlife native to Montana. The bathrooms were clean and there is a nice... More

Thank you for the visit! We love that the little ones loved it! Because of our small size, we love to cater to the littlest ones in the family, hoping to make their experience just as fun as everyone else's. We even have step stools in the bathrooms to help them! Thanks again for coming out. Jeff Ewelt Executive Director... More

Unfortunately this zoo doesn't have much for animals. Some times there are even less since some are away... It does have a nice play park and walking trails :( The peacocks are cool though :)

Well phooey, what a bummer you didn't enjoy yourself. We have over 100 animals of 56 different species, but your right, we don't have the thousands that larger Zoos have. Then again, we are not about how many animals we have, but rather their quality of life through care, exhibit design and keeping their surrounding areas natural. I'd like our... More

Very close to the motel we were staying in. We only paid about 20 dollars for a family of five. Loved that most the animals were rescued what a neat thing for billings Montana. We also loved that little strollers were provided, as we have a 4, 2, and one year old. The Bears were super cute. Loved seeing the... More

Very nicely maintained zoo. It wasn't huge but with small children it was just the right size for us. They were able to walk the whole time and we saw everything. However the trails were largely paved so we would have had no problem with the side by side stroller, should we have wanted to use it. My 10 year... More
