Love the beautiful scenery/landscape, the paths are very well maintained. Right at the beginning they have a board of what happenings will be going on - bear feedings __ time; otter demonstration __ time, etc. Love being able to feed fish, ducks, chickens, goats and sheep. Always will wish they are open in the evenings as we can only go... More

I love Billings' zoo. It is a pleasure to explore the family-friendly grounds and watch the animals antics. I especially enjoy the two bears; Ozzy and Bruno. While I was at the zoo they were doing a special demonstration where they set up campsites; one sloppy and unsafe and the other set up "bear safe" with food contained in bearproof... More

We have a family pass and my girls love to go check out the animals. It is just down from our house so if we dont check out the whole zoo we love to stop in and just play at the playground.

ZooMontana is a local treasure and one we should all support. It is a small zoo in a northern climate, and there are limitations to what is has to offer. It offers an up-close view of some very special native Montana species, and some exotics, as well. The red pandas are sweet, the tigers are amazing. My two favorite attractions... More

The zoo is wonderful. great natural enclosures with a fantastic play area for the kids. We went for the Easter Egg Hunt. I think that they were surprised by the number of kids that showed up. the little kids egg hunt should have been on the large open lawn. Not all of the young children got eggs. They set a... More

Thank you for the kind words! We were definitely surprised by the number of people we had for the egg hunt. It ended up being our largest, regular admission day in the history of the Zoo. Admittedly, we were not prepared for that, but we certainly learned form the experience. Thank you for your visit ad we look forward to... More

I'm quite sad to see other reviews of this zoo as negative. I think this is a wonderful little gem we have here in Montana. I have been to many other big-city zoo's and this is our favorite. It is reliable, and you can tell the animals are well-taken care of. I appreciate the time the owners put into this... More

As far as Zoos go, this was pretty sad. The only animal we really saw was a bear and I felt really bad for him, he just kept pacing back and forth in front of the fence. My Grand daughters enjoyed running back and forth with him, they thought it was a game. The kids however thought the playground was... More

Thanks for the visit. I am sorry to hear you did not thoroughly enjoy your visit. We have over 100 animals of 56 different species, so am I sorry you did not see more on your trip. The otters, tigers and Red Pandas are usually quite active. We are a growing Zoo and have come a long way over the... More

ZooMontana is a great little zoo. Not to rushed so you can sit and enjoy the exhibits for as long as you like. A very relaxed atmosphere, "zen place"

Thank you for your visit! I truly appreciate your kind and am happy to hear you had a good time. We take pride in the fact that we are a very "natural" zoo and want folks to see it as a walk in the park. We pledge to continue that ideology as we grow into the future! Jeff Ewelt ZooMontana More

The boo at the Zoo is fun and going when the weather is nice is a great time to get out of the house. Not a four star zoo but nice to have in a smaller mountain town. It's okay- never became a member because I didn't see the value.
