I had a short time in Billings and it was a rainy day--so this was perfect (and still highly worth seeing even on bright sunny day). The Will James and Floyd Tunson exhibits were very interesting. There is also a permanent exhibit as well as a gallery with art for sale. I liked that many of the art works touched... More

The variety has been good. They really do not focus on one thing. The YAM has done a great job updating and renovating this once hideous building.

We really enjoyed it and it was $12 for the entire family. It's rather small so it didn't take us long to walk through it but we went while the Lego exhibit was there an that was amazing! We will definitely keep an out for new exhibits and go often! Also, don't forget to ask to see the vault across... More

By Montana standards this is a great art museum. They try hard to bring the best shows that Billings, MT can support. It is a great building with good staff, and a respectable permanent collection.

Billings is so lucky to have such a fine art museum in the city. The art is well displayed and shows an array of talent among artists of the area.

It is interesting to see exhibits that are on loan from other countries and cities around the world. I felt that I was not missing being in a large city to see and exhibit. This was satisfying!
