Billings is so lucky to have such a fine art museum in the city. The art is well displayed and shows an array of talent among artists of the area.

It is interesting to see exhibits that are on loan from other countries and cities around the world. I felt that I was not missing being in a large city to see and exhibit. This was satisfying!

The YAM's current exhibitions, Face to Face, Wall to Wall and Unconscious Bent are world class! If you have not had the opportunity to view these shows, you truly are missing out...the one and only contemporary art museum in the region offers some of the best art in the area!

The caliper of the traveling exhibits is amazing, and they are usually thought-provoking and ALWAYS beautifully presented. YAM provides a nice balance of modern and western art in new and interesting ways. I always enjoy my visits... More

This museum is well worth a visit, multiple visits even. My favorites are right next to each other, the Signac downstairs under the stairs, and the installation piece that reacts with the weather.

The other exhibit has a picture created entirely of spools of thread, must be seen to appreciate. Upstairs also look tor the young man carrying his father and the security officer.
