Lovely place for a picnic and feed the ducks

Great place to go to for a walk, picnic or just to see waterfowl. Kids can fish. Bring bug spray. A little out of the way of central activity fir Billings, but definitely worth the effort.

We were here in mid-June, and attempted an evening walk. The trails seemed very nice and well-developed, but as soon as we started our walk, we were overcome by mosquitoes! A couple was fishing and offered bug spray (which we did not have). They said that they had sprayed extensively and still were getting bit. We ended up running back... More

My dogs just love the long walk and taking cooling dips in the yellowstone river. The bugs can be bad but come prepared with repellant and the walk will be enjoyable.

We thought it would be a nice place to take our dog for a walk and just as we started on the path we were swarmed with mosquitos! I wish I had read the review from 2012 that mentioned the blood suckers! My husband and I both ended up with bites and three of the littler buggers joined us in... More

Riverfront is pleasant because there is a pond with grass for picnics, and it's near the Yellowstone River, so great for hiking around.

All times of the year are beautiful times to visit this great area. Tons of foliage, a paved path/road around the pond/lake. Lots of other trails in and through the trees between the park and the river. Haven't gotten lost yet. Dogs are welcome (leashed ones that is).

Like the walking paths and the scenery. Watch out for duck and geese feces. Great place to take spring and fall pictures.

The lake was calm. The sun was shining. There was no wind. It was a perfect day for Riverfront Park. I believe the walking trail was o.k. to walk on later in the day.
