5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014 NEW

Went solo on July 21, 2014 with guide Hannah. She was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable, friendly, funny and accommodating. Incredible views of Lone Mountain. Great trails through timber and meadows. Trail is not flat and boring. Plenty of stream crossings, steep hills and twists and turns. Felt 100% safe the whole time riding Baxter the Snackster. Met the owner,... More

Our family has done several trail rides across the US and this by far takes the cake. You get your money's worth with a long trail ride into some of the best country anywhere. The horses were calm and easy to lead. We ended with a great meal of steak, baked or sweet potatos, corn, beans, biscuits and dessert. The... More

We booked a ride with Cedar Mountain because it is a very short drive (5-10 mins) from the Big Sky resort. We did a two hour ride through the mountains nearby with stunning views of Lone Peak. Our guide, Michelle, was great, the horses were calm, and our boys (ages 8 and 11) had a wonderful time. We saw a... More

They were able to accommodate our large family (17) for a last minute trail ride and we couldn't have been more impressed. Great Horses, great scenery, great guides. Worth every Penney! Highly Recommended.

We did the hay ride with the dinner, the stagecoach ride, and our granddaughter got a free pony ride with each of those. The people are GREAT with kids. The dinner after the hay ride was equal to some we have had in really good restrurants and better than many, with a choice of beef, chicken, or salmon. Everything was... More

Cedar Mtn Corrals was terrific to deal with from our initial phone reservation. The staff there are amazingly polite and friendly. Our 2 hour ride consisted of myself, my 2 kids, ages 8 and 11, and our guide Yanni (I'm sure I'm misspelling her name). She really made our 2 week trip throughout the West and could not be any... My son and I were on a seven day road trip through Oregon, Wyoming, Montana, Washington, and back to Oregon. We were just looking for stuff to do along the way. No real plans. Before having left Oregon I found Cedar Mountain Corrals as an option and tucked it away in the back of my mind. While in Tetons we... More

We had an excellent experience at Cedar Mountain Corrals. We went with 3 children (ages 4,5, and 7). There was a short pony ride for the 4 and 5 year old (which was perfect for their age) and then a group of 4 of us went on a 2 hour ride (3 adults and a 7 year old). Our wrangler,... More

Went on a 3 hour ride with Pat as wrangler. Trails were very much what we were looking for, scenic, leisurely to moderate, with the occasional reason to let the steeds catch a breath. Stock was well mannered, tack was in good condition. The views were extraordinary. Spanish Range, Lone Peak were beautiful the day we went. Did have the... More

A fun, scenic trail ride that culminates with a BBQ on a gorgeous mountain lake. One of us had a medical issue, and they were so accommodating - taking us back to the stable. Great people.
