I was terrified to go rafting, as I've never done it before. My friend who is in from the east coast and I both did the half day trip today. It was AWESOME! Cory and Matt were fantastic and made me feel comfortable with something new. I had a smile on my face the whole time and I can't wait... More

This was a fun, active and unique way to experience Montana's beautiful outdoors. We went in July 2010 on a 1/2 day tour. The staff and guides put you at ease the minute you walk in -- their enthusiasm and sincerity were infectious, versus some places which have a hipper-than-thou attitude. Not here. The last-minute recommendation to put kids in... More

We stayed in Big Sky as apart of a 10 day vacation through the west. We had a nice trip. The time of year we went, was not very exciting, but the scenery was certainly beautiful. We felt like we were being prepared for a much more exciting trip, but it ended up being more of a float trip. The... More

The company is great! Foremost is their issue with safety. They outfit each person and give comprehensive guidelines. We had to twin boys, age 10 in our raft and they had a terrific time. The whitewater was very good for the time of year. They take a lot of pictures, so everyone will be seen in the raft. Whitney was... More

Geyser does a great job with their whitewater tours but the later in the summer you go the less whitewater there actually is. We went the last week of August and it was more of a pleasant cruise down the river than a whitewater trip. We were looking for a little more adventure than what we got. The only other... More

This was an expensive activity for our family but we had a wonderful guide. We had Owen and he did a superb job making it so easy to enjoy some exciting rapids and guiding us with a lot of positive feedback. Our exchange student who doesn't completely understand English, fell out of the boat and he helped her back in... More

If you are going to Big Sky Montana and you want to go whitewater rafting, your best bet is Geyser Whitewater. I emailed them quite a few times prior to going to Big Sky to ask a lot of questions concerning rafting with my young daughter, 7 years old and they always responded immediately, specifically and ready to answer any... We had so much fun w/ Geyser in 2005 that we decided to do it again since we were in the area this summer. Carl was a great guide...even though he goes to Emory! Turns out, my bro was among those crazy kayakers you told us about. Lunch was delish! Thanks, your rafters from WashU-StL! More

The lunch they provide is a very good Deal. The rafting part was a bit cattle car feeling with getting on a bus with a lot of other people. But the water was exciting and a real adventure. Definitely wear a bathing suit...you do get wet even in a wet suit. Changing room is not the greatest and pretty small... More
