The Old Stagecoach Stop is a treasure in Downtown Waynesville! I have been there several times and always find something new to enjoy. The building has a rich history and is included on the National Register of Historic Places. No admission fee- but I leave a small donation every time that I visit since this museum is staffed by volunteers.

Great display of historical artifacts. The building is in need of some repair, but then again what building that dates back to the civil war doesn't.

We truly learned a lot about where we live and how Waynesville became what it is today. Also, the Old Stage Coach Stop is a short walk from the Waynesville park. It was very easy to picnic and play... More

Friendly guide and quality museum if you are visiting the Ozarks. Just off the east side of the main block of downtown Waynesville. Covers one of the oldest settled counties west of the Mississippi and on the Trail of Tears.

Nice spot to visit; there are a number of volunteers who work very hard to bring the history of the area to life. I am glad that we stopped in.
