Zip high over the Meramec River!

At $25 per person (group of 10 rate) this is the best value around! Took my girl scout troop (12th graders) to zip line and they had a great time! They were not beginners (had... read more

At $25 per person (group of 10 rate) this is the best value around! Took my girl scout troop (12th graders) to zip line and they had a great time! They were not beginners (had zip lined as younger scouts at Blue Springs Ranch and with family on vacation) and this course was a bit more challenging, which is what... More

Great day trip for il and Missouri. Be ready to walk and enjoy the underground cave formations. The cool cave is a good way to escape the heat. Wear appropriate footwear it can be slippery inside the cave. Kids and adults will enjoy the adventure.

We visited the park just to go on the Fisher Cave tour and we were not disappointed. The caves are really interesting and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. A great experience for the money

My first warning should have been when they wanted a credit card for the reservation. I was told that when the river was to high and they canceled reservations that they still charged those cards. Secondly, they wouldn't allow us to make very simple downgrades in our reservation because they had already charged us. The bus driver purposely ran a... More

The area is very pleasant. Quiet, peaceful. Had a nice place to feed the fish. History about the area. Spring with a waterfall and areas for fisherman to fish for tout and onlookers to watch.

Meramec State Park is a great place to walk in the woods. Although the park was busy when we visited on a Saturday, the trails were quiet and we encountered only a few other hikers. Although the park has many caves, only a few are visible from the trails. The park visitor center was very interesting and informative, and the... More

We camped here in the 70's and returned this month for a bit of nostalgia. It is still a beautifully maintained scenic park with nice camping, river access and woods. Quite close to the Interstate too.

We stopped in Sullivan as a halfway point from Oklahoma to Wisconsin and wanted to tour the cave. When you enter the Meramec State Park, stay on the main road until you see signs for Fisher Cave. We arrived at the cave early for the 9:30 tour and there was a restroom fairly nearby. They told us the tour would... More

They opened the museum just for your group and showed the movie about the park. It was interesting, but the next (optional for our group) movie about the displacement of the Natives was really informative.

Other than the 58 steep steps upward towards the end of the tour, I had no complaints. i especially liked their souvenier shop!
