Clean park. The picnic facilities were even clean which is often difficult with the turn over of people. We had a good camp site wished it was by the river but hey it was what it was. Would go back again.

Just got back from a day at Mermen State Park. Can you believe it - December and 70 degrees, WOW. The park is well maintained with a nice trout stream. The park has adequate bathroom facilities and a good general store. If you go to the trout hatchery you will find trout by the 1,000's. They release the grown trout... More

I met a tired friend from St. Louis at this park and we rented a little cabin for few days. The cabins have a great deal of historical charm. Though old, they have everything you need Ours had a stove top and microwave, but no oven in case that is important to you. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, but... More

Having grown up here I have always considered myself lucky to be a stone's throw away from such a beautiful place. One of the best campgrounds in the state, but book early it can be hard to find a site in summer.

We thought the park was very nice and clean, we rented cabin 6 for two nights, the cabin was very nice except for the bed,it was very hard and uncomfortable, the futon they had was actually better.plus the bed was small. Also you need to watch for skunks and raccoons,We had at least 3-4 skunks and several large raccoons come up on us... Had a nice relaxing time in the park. Our visit was in the middle of the week in September. The whole park is signed very well, so we didn't have any problem finding all the places we wanted to see in the park. Plenty of picnic areas and campgrounds around the park. I would recommend this park for a great... More

This is a great park! We love the area and camping here! Nice level campsites and clean shower houses. Several nice hiking trails and caves for exploring. We camp here a couple times a year with the fall being our favorite.

We have camped and floated over Labor Day weekend at Meramec State Park for the last 6 years. We go with a group of friends totaling about 40 people. We always have a great time. The park is clean and reservations/payment have always been correct.

At $25 per person (group of 10 rate) this is the best value around! Took my girl scout troop (12th graders) to zip line and they had a great time! They were not beginners (had zip lined as younger scouts at Blue Springs Ranch and with family on vacation) and this course was a bit more challenging, which is what... More

Great day trip for il and Missouri. Be ready to walk and enjoy the underground cave formations. The cool cave is a good way to escape the heat. Wear appropriate footwear it can be slippery inside the cave. Kids and adults will enjoy the adventure.
