This cave is wonderful. It is full of many formations including helictites, soda straws, stalactites, stalagmites, columns, popcorn, cave bacon, and rimstone pools. Crystal Caves is an experience not to be missed if at all possible! Not only is the cave tour interesting, but the tour guides are an important part of the experience. All the billboards around Springfield tout Fantastic Caverns, but you'll have a much better cave experience at Crystal Cave. Crystal Cave is more interesting, you experience the cave more intimately, and the price is better. This is not a world-class cave, but for the Springfield, MO area this is the one to see.
