On our way home from Branson we looked up this zoo. It was a decent price $48.00 for our family of 5. It looks like it will be very small from the parking lot but once you go inside it is very nice. They have a lot of different areas like asia, Africa, etc. Some of the attractions were a... More

I love Dickerson Park Zoo! It isn't huge but that didn't bother me. A lot of the animals were inside because it was colder but the animals that were out were great. Can't wait to go back again!

Truly a must see when visiting or staying in Springfield. Professionally run and maintained the Dickerson Park Zoo is an awesome attraction for families and individuals. Go to the zoo and you will tell your friends and want to go back. My visits take me back to my youth and remind me of what a great place Springfield is to... More

We enjoy this zoo and always try to stop by when we are in the area. My son who is 15 and always has been very concerned about animal rights can enjoy this zoo because he feels like the animals have good space and care. My 11 year old daughter still loves the petting zoo and feeding the giraffes. Good... More

For a very small town, the zoo is quite respectable. I liked feeding the giraffes. Elephants are always popular. It's clean and has several activities throughout the year.

We are local and enjoy visiting, the cafe is a little high priced but we usually eat before we visit anyway. The enclosures are clean, animals happy, and plenty of environmental enrichment.

Dickerson Park Zoo is a fun, safe environment to visit. Totally family friendly and interactive. It is a beautiful place to walk alone for a peaceful day or with the whole family exclaiming about all the adorable animals! With features like a train ride, opportunities to buy snacks all through-out, and benches placed periodically so one can sit and peacefully... More

This is a place I never get tired of. The animals are healthy looking and it's clean. I got exercise from the walk and you can even feed the animals in certain areas. The price has gone up it seems a little high but all in all its a great place to visit and also to take pics and for... More

Although it cannot compete with the big zoos like the one in St. Louis, Dickerson Park Zoo is an awesome place with a lot to see. It is well thought out, well kept and always full of people who just love seeing the animals or having a picnic.
