My family loves going to this zoo. It has a great variety of animals, petting zoo, train rides, feeding the giraffes. As the song goes, "there's so much to see and do!"

The animals appear to be very happy and content with the different objects in their exhibit (toys, branches, etc.) and a very good walk on a nice day. Not too... More

I took my two preschool age grandsons to the zoo and had a very enjoyable day. Many of the walkways are shaded, the landscaping is great, and all of the exhibits we saw were clean and well kept. The zoo has a good variety of animals, and most of the animals were visible to us. The little boys really enjoyed... More

The zoo in springfield is a decent little zoo for a small city. It has all the basics you would expect out of any zoo, but it does have a world class giraffe program. They breed them for other zoos across the nation and are highly successful. I would recommend the zoo to anyone that likes animals, you will have... More

This zoo could be so much better! Of course being from STL and seeing what a zoo could and should be, we are definitely spoiled, however, our family has visited multiple zoo's throughout the country and this one reminded me of the movie "We bought a Zoo" before it was updated as it just looked pitiful. Weeds and tired looking... More

We really enjoyed our visit to this zoo. We have been to the St Louis Zoo, Nashville Zoo, and Memphis Zoo, and found this one to be a great place to visit. Very child friendly too and the train tour is only $2 per person. And there is free parking! Highly recommend a visit to this zoo when you're in... More

It is not as good as the st. louis zoo! It is ok, the animals are most of the time out, sometimes not! Food is way to mush! Everything there is too much, going in, food. I will go back, but it is not amazing!

I love the Dickerson Park Zoo! It's a great place to visit, the staff is very accommodating and the sights are wonderful! They take really good care of all the animals, they are very healthy and fun to watch. I've been there many times and have never had a bad experience. There is a small cafe there so if you... More
