We toured the Brewery kind of by accident because we stopped by the tasting room. Neat place with some yummy beers. Hands down the Winter Grind (coffee stout) is my favorite beer I have ever drank. The Three Blind Mice and Tow Head were both excellent also!

Very cool place They specialize in heavier, hoppier beers.... You've been warned... Most breweries have attractively-priced brews for those who are willing to pilgrimage to the brewery, Mothers doesn't do this

Visited with a friend while visiting Springfield and was very pleasantly surprised to find a good range of ales with varying tastes for all palettes including seasonal ales. Their chocolate stout for winter was different, but for someone with a sweet tooth and like of beer, a good combination. Friendly members of staff who explained the range to me. Unfortunately... Mothers is a fun place to hang out. They have a great tasting room where you can buy/taste beers that are not available commercially. I love to stop and taste a few. The free tour on Saturday's is fun and you get to taste several beers at the end of the tour. The place is growing like crazy due to... More

Located right on Route 66 in an old bread factory this is a must stop for locals and especially those crossing our country's roads. The tasting room is great and the people even better. Stop and say hi...they have a great attitude and are enjoying life which shows when you walk through the doors!

I'm a big proponent of supporting local business, and this is a good one. They love what they do, and it is evident in their product. While I like their regular lineup, their season brews are excellent. Do yourself a favor and go get a six pack of Mr. Pumpkin and a six pack of Old School Oktoberfest right now...... More

I just wish they'd bottle most of them! The tour was led by Jeff and can you ever tell that this man is passionate about the beer business! These guys have a great little business going here, and this brewery is worth a few hours of your time. After sampling the better know varieties, my dad and I thought it... More

I was able to go during Beer Week to sample the many different and inventive beer from Mother's. They have a great variety and very different brews. The cucumber was a nice change! The tasting room is great and the staff is always helpful. Love getting to visit here.

This is a fun place to go, and their local flair to the brewery is cool. We have a place in Springfield that ships good product outside of MO. The product is good, and the people are nice, so way to go. Their seasonal brews are some of my favorite, and have accompanied my calm adult return to allowing an... More

I love this brewing company and I have been to a few in my time! The wide selection of craft beers that they make is fabulous, and the tasting room is the only place to try their experiments. Be forewarned that they don't typically fit into the beer niches. Their brown is not typical, their IPA is not typical, etc.,... More
