Went for the State Fair this year. Only problem is deciding which night and which events to go to. You pay for each entry. We attended the draft horse competition. Walked around and looked at the booths and it was well worth the entry fee. Expect to pay for parking if you want to be close.

This years Ozark Empire Fair was great. The mid-way was very clean and everyone seemed to be enjoying the rides. The food was also good this year. There seemed to be less vendors in the E-plex this year

The Ozark Empire Fair grounds is a great location to see car shows, and many other events. It has a very nice air conditioned hall used for many events. It also has a nice outdoor concert area that draws some big names during the Ozark Empire Fair. It also contains a lot of buildings, and an arena for livestock exhibits.

Outstanding venue with outdoor and indoor facilities. My favorite time of year is the Ozark Empire Fair. My families annual tradition and we attend several times a year. Indoors are the photography, agriculture, crafts, needlework contestants and winners, as well as interesting vendors. The food is local and outstanding! You haven't lived until you have enjoyed the Fair. And the... More

Liked easy access from interstate. All good. We went to HorseFest 2014,2015, so we enjoyed it. Didn't have much choice for food, would have been nice if the outside vendors had been open for food & drink.

My husband and I were so excited to attend Bacon Fest 2014. We paid $35 each (thank God we didn't pay more for the VIP tickets). When you walk in, there are booths lined up with samples of food prepared with bacon, liquor and beer samples infused with bacon, and various other items such as bacon shirts, tupperware, spices, etc.... Our family went to the Ozark Empire Fair for the first time this summer, and were surprised by how much fun we had. If you want to ride rides, the $20 unlimited rides wrist band is the best deal, but only if you plan on doing rides for a few hours.

We have been going to the fair for 50+ years, and with perfect weather this year we really looked forward to the annual Ozark Empire Fair. Not sure what has happened - but the livestock barns were near empty , the area where the rides have traditionally been located has contracted, and very few exhibits were on display compared to... Really great two day outdoor event in September. National and local musicians. All blues, all the time.
