Very clean, safe and easy walk. I always feel so good after walking the trails. We are so lucky to have a Nature Center here in Springfield

This is one of my favorite places to go for a nice walk in the woods without going too far from town. Also, an excellent backdrop for the many photo shoots I have taken. There is plenty of nature to be seen, along with an educational center, and public restrooms. There are varied lengths of hikes for all ages. Our... More

If you want to be out in nature and love hiking, this place is perfect. We go as a family as often as we can.

I have only been maybe once or twice and even though I found it to be a really lovely park, I was annoyed by the rules. If I am going to go out to the park, I typically like to bring my dog and unfortunately there is a no dog policy here. They won't even let you jog during certain... More

Conviently located in south Springfield just off the interstate. Nature Park plus nice exhibit in Club house. Plus walking trail so you can see nature 1st hand. Knowledgeable staff operated by State of Missouri.

I have attended a few free classes here and they were very informative and really enjoyable. The trails do not allow dogs and that is why we don't come here. It is a really nice trail though and would be even better if our furry friends were allowed! Nice way to get away from the hustle and bustle of town... More

Be sure to bring a hat and some water! Trails seem like they never end, but is was very relaxing and we got to see some beautiful scenery.

I've been hiking here since I was a kid. Now I take my own kids here for the trails. It's a wonderful place to see nature without even leaving the city.

Nice little Zoo & friendly people. There are some inclined so have good walking shoes on. The children loved the petting zoo where they were able to purchase food to feed the animals
