This is a hidden gem in Springfield! Many garden areas to peruse and admire all without costing a penny like other botanical gardens in other cities. I'm disappointed that I didn't get to walk around and see as much of it as I would have liked but if I was a local resident this would be a favorite hangout for... More

We walked around the grounds, lovely plants well labeled and well tended. Such a nice variety of hostas, lillies and other flowers. A peaceful lake with geese and ducks.

THis is my favorite Springfield park. It has so much to offer. We had our family photos taken here in the hosta garden and in front of the lake. Also have taken kids here to play.

Loved the 26 themed gardens especially the rose, white, hosta and English gardens. Drummond Lake with the canadian geese and mallards swimming along very peaceful. Plenty of benches throughout to sit on and reflect. Butterfly house (seasonal), beautiful. Garden-themed playground equipment. Gray/Campbell Farmstead very interesting. Disliked having only one pavilion with restrooms in all 113 acres.

I visit here with my family when I am in town and I was surprised the last time I went (July 2014) how many updates they have made. It is such a beautiful park! They have added many little areas with flowers and bridges and trees. Very well done. I love going here.

Our grandson loves the playground with the merry-go-around. When he comes to visit we have to go here every day but it's fun to sit and watch him have a great time. We've biked and walked around here. They have a great botanical garden, butterfly place, pond, and paths. It's fun to walk or bike along the path that has... More

This is a great park. It has plenty of the normal attractions with play areas for the kids and pavilions for gatherings. There's a pond with a walkway and lots of ducks. Near the rear of the park is the Japanese stroll garden and it is just beautiful. they have festivals here every year and they are well worth visiting.... More

Lots to see and do and mostly free. Trails, beautiful park and lake, waterfall, butterfly house and a lot more. Best park in Springfield.
