This park you can get lost and be by yourself or take a relaxing walk with others. Beautiful gardens every where! I have never seen so many different kinds of flowers in one place! The huge lake in the center of it all is my favorite part! I highly recommend this park for a family picnic!

This park has a little bit of everything for a family (or pretty much anyone who enjoys a good park, for that matter). For the parents who want to walk, there are beautiful trails. There is play equipment spaced throughout the main trail so the kids get to play while unknowingly letting their parents get their way, too. There are beautiful... More

If you don't like ducks & geese then this walk around the lake not for you. I love starting my day out seeing & hearing the ducks & geese. With a little luck I may even get to see a Blue Herron.

Wide variety of gardens throughout the summer. Nice trail around the lake, several stops with playgrounds, butterfly house, etc. Gray-Campbell Farmstead is a good stop at the back of the park, as well as the Japanese Stroll Garden, particularly in the spring when trees are blooming (fee for Japanese Garden).

This park is very well kept plus you get to see a variety of plants, butterflies, a nice pond, a small waterfall that you can cross over via a bridge. The area is huge and has places to sit so you can relax and just enjoy nature! There is also a botanical center you can walk thru. Very enjoyable for... More

Wide open spaces where you can run on the grass. Well-maintained paths, variety of surfaces. Runners and bikers will enjoy the wide, cemented path around the lake/pond. Geese and ducks hang out a the western end, so watch out for their "evidence" left behind in the grass and on the path! Unique play areas are scattered along the path as... More

This is a beautiful park to stroll around. It is especially wonderful for the plant and flower enthusiast. The best times to visit are during the fall and the Japanese festival.

I absolutely love this park! It is beautifully maintained and there is so much to see. It has a small lake that is home to several geese and ducks and along the trail are fun jungle gyms for the kids. They also have an amazing Lily garden that blooms in the summer with hundreds of different varieties. There is also... More
