Stopped in with my Dad, we are both Vets and into Military History. The overall collection is eclectic and rather extensive. It is curated with care and forethought. It is a nice regional museum but has a few interesting hidden treasures.

We are so glad you stopped by and enjoyed our Museum. We all work very hard to keep this place going. We only run by monies that we raise, donations and people like you that come thru our doors. We are so pleased you enjoyed seeing our collection and thank you for your visit. Please come back again, we hope... More

I found this very interesting because I have two boys in the Navy and enjoy history museums. The vets had a lot of good stories about themselves as well as the military. They know neat stories about each plane or vehicle or uniform in the collection. you can see the progress the military has made in communications and weapons as... More

This was definitely a surprise! If you're a war buff or military history buff this is a treat! Not much from the outside, but step into another past world inside! Lots to see and they even have a Cobra helicopter in the back! Great place to spend an afternoon exploring history and talking with a few vets. Well worth your... More

I read about this museum in the Springfield Magazine in my hotel room. I'm a huge fan of military memorabilia. There was a pretty good amount of things to see, fairly well arranged. I actually drove past this place several times before I realized it's in a stripe mall. Nice time, I recommend it.

Thank you for the review, sorry you drove past it - we painted the roof so it would stand out. SO glad we finally got into the local magazine and you read it. Please come back again, we are all volunteers and work hard to raise money and keep this place going. You are welcomed back any time. THANK YOU. More

This is probably not where you would expect to see a very interesting collection of military memorabilia, uniforms, dioramas, vehicles and a Cobra helicopter. This museum is small and easy to take your time to view the displays. As I understand it, the staff are all volunteers, former military veterans. Their historical stories and personal anecdotes add a rich dimension... More

From the outside it doesn't look like much , but walk thru the door and history comes to life !! They have a great staff that will answer questions (and make you a set of dog tags!) !! Trucks and jeeps and planes , oh my !!! They are doing a great job !! My only concern is why the... More

Thank you SO MUCH for the great review. We feel the same way about getting help from Springfield. We only run on donations and the money we make from guests coming in and paying for admission. All volunteers keep all trucks, jeeps, etc. running and man the museum. We would love to have a bigger and better location, all it... More

Janet thank you for your visit. We enjoy keeping history going, people need to learn from it. We hope you will come back and maybe become a member. Most of us are veterans but we do have some that just love history. All vehicles are kept running, it takes quite a bit of work for that. Again, thank you for... More

Very small, but crammed full of items. Best of all, they let you climb into a helicopter, jet trainer, and a Jeep. It is located in a strip mall. The folks that staff the place seem to all be vets and are very helpful. Well worth the $5 per adult. No cards accepted, cash only.

This museum is a very informal place. It is run by volunteers, most have served. They have lots of cool models, restorations, and items from around the world. If you go, make sure to check out the back. That is where they keep all of the big stuff. This place does accept donations. I highly recommend giving to them. It... More

Great artifacts and very knowledgeable guides...particularly enjoyed that the kids could actually touch and sit in some of the vehicles. If you pull into the parking lot, you have to go in!! Well worth the time!

Thank you for your visit, we are trully glad your children enjoyed touching and getting a feel of our items. We love to educate everyone who walks into the door.
