We visited Bass Pro Shops on June 20, 2009, with our 3 boys, ages 10, 5, and 3. We spent nearly 6 hours there, climbing on the boats and ATVs, watching the fish, ducks, turtles, browsing the camping gear, etc. The store was also sponsoring "Family Summer Camps" which offered more free activities for our kids. They got to do... more

We visited the Bass Pro Shop in Las Vegas with our four year old son. Could have spent half a day there easy. All the stuffed wild life, huge above ground fishing tank, waterfalls, fish stream, wow! We just visited the store at Victoria Gardens in California. We live in southern Cal so it was an easy drive. This store... more

Bass Pro isn't just for shopping as a previous reviewer exclaimed. Yes, the prices are higher than what you'd pay at Walmart for a rod and reel or a tent, but do you get to see waterfalls and live ducks at Walmart? Nooooo. I've lived in Springfield for many years, and we still enjoy browsing the store, watching the turtles... more

This place is a must if you are in Springfield, MO. The Bass Pro has a natural museum connected to it and this is excellent. The shop itself is good and has a nice food court. I would definitely stop by this place again if I had a free weekend in Springfield. Don't assume this is just for outdoorsman, as... more

This is a wonderful place to spend hours with your family. The only downfall is their McDonalds. It is usually dirty and the staff is ridicolously rude. I blame McD's cooperation for this, NOT Bass Pro. Let's face it, McD's is nothing like it used to be. My kids love looking at all the fish, the waterfall, the small arcade... more

We decided to check out this store while passing thru Springfield. It was awsome. They had everything a sportsman would want and at reasonable prices. It is definitely worth spending some time there, as well as the museum next door. more

++There is SO much more to Bass Pro than just goin' there to buy something. This is a multi-level outdoor persons paradise. (Plus there's a Starbucks just inside the door. Hello? Can you say "family fun?") ++They have awesome dining. *Hemingways* They make fudge. They have a snack bar. And yes, a Mcdonalds. ++My kids loved the shooting gallery.(arcade) My... more

This place is huge and really pretty neat to visit once. Don't go out of your way to visit this place, but if you're in town, stop by and browse the facility. Kids will like it more than adults. The prices are far more than a typical sporting goods store, so don't come here for the shopping. more
