All things for outdoors sports and adventures! This is a huge themed store that everyone in the city knows. Awesome place to buy things, to look around and even take photos. There's a nice bar with a beautiful aquarium and a good restaurant inside, alongside with stuffed animals and a small guns' museum. To make it short: inside this place... More

This is a great place to go shopping, they have a little bit of everything & sometimes they have great prices. Customer service has always been good to great for me. Hemming ways is a good place to eat, I've had their buffet and lunch a few times and always enjoyed the selections and food quality. Next door they have... More

Plan for at least half a day here if you want to see and do all the activities and exhibits, eat at the great restaurant and, oh wait, shop a little. Had a blast and like no other store in the world!!

Wow, I am impressed. We stopped here when a visit to the Pythian Castle was cancelled (thanks to "filming"...sigh) and we suddenly needed an activity for six lively youngsters (age 5-15). We were really amazed at all there was to see and explore inside the store. There are displays a plenty with all kinds of things to look at including... More

I am a Bass Pro Shop customer. But wow! Biggest store I've ever been in. Staff is wonderful and helpful. We found some great deals in the store and at the outlet. There is so much to see. The displays are pretty impressive. You can lots of ideas and find everything you need for your outdoor sporting needs. If you... More

Any time I get out around the Ft. Leonard Wood area, which isn't often, I try and stop by this Bass Pro. This is the original and definitely worth a visit if you're a fan! It has grown by leaps and bounds since we lived in MO back in the late 80's. They're now building a conservation part which will... More

We go to Bass Pro at least once a year. Not for the shopping but the experience. the fish, turtles, stuffed animals and now the NRA and Archery museums (they are free) are awesome. They also have some fast food and one restaurant that i am aware of. We have eaten at it before but not this trip (I think... More

We loved the animal decor and the live exhibits - ducks, fish, alligators, and turtles as well as all the taxidermy displays. They have a nice restaurant we did not visit (middle of the afternoon). Very educational - take your camera!

After staying at the Days Inn across the street, I visited the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, where the business started in the early 1970s. This site, the flagship store for the company, is the largest outfitter of its kind in the United States and I'd imagine in North America. The founder is originally from Springfield and started selling hand... More

Although we've been to BP before several times, there's always something new. This time it was the NRA sponsored firearms museum. All I can say is "WoW!" It is awesome and overpowering. I'd say you would either have to spend a lot of time or go more than once to fully appreciate it all. We both loved it. Of course,... More
