The Fabulous Fox Theatre first opened in 1929 as a movie palace in William Fox's motion picture empire. The theatre was reopened in 1982, and today it is one of the most exquisite venues in the country to enjoy live touring Broadway shows, concerts, and comedians. We hope you'll visit us for an upcoming show or one of our guided tours!

One can spend an hour trying to take in every image in the lobby alone. This beautifully restored movie palace is now a major venue for Broadway musicals and large concerts. The decor is amazing. The rogan comes up from the floor and fills the gigantic auditorium. This is a trip in itself.

I think this theater is AMAZING! It was restored in the early 80's and returned it to a thing of beauty. I know they have since done more work to keep it current. I can not tell you how many shows I have seen in this theater and I have taken the tour thats available. it recounts a fabulous history.... More

This is the place to visit! 1.5 hours of wonderful, old-world charm and elegance. When you walk in, you are immediately hit with nostalgic opulence of days far past. The detail is phenomenal, and you'll see performers pics ranging from Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller to Phyllis Diller to current stars. Also, they'll take you to the dressing rooms for... More

Every time I go to the Fox, I'm in awe of its beauty but it's also my favorite St. Louis venue to view anything & they host rock concerts to concertos & live theater of all sorts. It's not so large as to feel like a mere ant & the sound system is great so perfect for concerts. It's got... More

The acoustics are great you can hear a person in the last row from any place on the main stage; the management and ownership has done wonders improving the interior and exterior of this magnificent theater; the productions are first class; take a tour of the Fox and it will show you some wonderful history of the Grand Theater.

I have been to the Fox Theatre on numerous occasions and I am still in awe each time I go. It is so ornate and beautiful. Acoustics are great, and there really are no bad seats in my opinion. Parking is very close, especially if you arrive early. I definitely recommend arriving early in order to have time to explore... More

If you visit St Louis and have the opportunity to attend a show or concert at the Fox Theatre do it. This is an amazing facility and you will immediately be impressed by the decor and charm.

Beautiful inside, I was truly impress. We went to go see Chris Tucker because I found some tickets on Groupon. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for these tickets. His comedy show was not funny at all. I think we stayed for maybe an hour and couldn't finish the show due to it was that LAME! I ordered 2... More
