As a child I went there on Sundays with my folks to see all the classic movies. As a young adult I was fortunate to see many special shows there; now as an older adult, have enjoyed many plays. The atmosphere is so glorious--beautiful. So happy they saved the Fox. Still miss Stan Kann and his organ though. My husband... More

The Fabulous Fox Theater is an amazing place. If you are in St. Louis, take the guided behind the scenes tour, you will not regret. It was stepping back to days of the silent movies and moving to the current times. The organist was on hand to play this wonderful instrument. Enough time was allowed to meander backstage and see... The history. The Fox is old but also so well taken care of. I don't think I have ever seen someone come into the main doors and not have their jaw drop at the sight. There is so much history all around and even in the bathrooms.

The Fox is a great place to see a concert, play, comedian...just about anything. The main lobby always sends chills down my spine as I enter because it's so impressive. It really is a treasure for the city of STL.

There are not many of these classic theatres of this size left. An elegant decor is embraced by first timers and regulars. An outstanding Broadway Series brings in some of the most popular Broadway productions as well as some of the newer shows. Music and dance productions are also featured. A wonderful attraction in St. Louis.

Beautiful building, not a bad seat in the house. None of that "partial view" that you can get stuck with in New York or Chicago. The acoustics are good. The staff is very attentive and kind. The tour is worth taking too. Dining in the neighborhood isn't that good. I would suggest eating elsewhere in St Louis before or after... More
