The Fabulous Fox Theatre first opened in 1929 as a movie palace in William Fox's motion picture empire. The theatre was reopened in 1982, and today it is one of the most exquisite venues in the country to enjoy live touring Broadway shows, concerts, and comedians. We hope you'll visit us for an upcoming show or one of our guided tours!

This theater is so beautiful. It has been redone and you need to check out the ceilings, carpet, railings, amazing front doors, etcetera. Just look at all of the details. We have seen musicals, comedians and other special events at this location. What you see is based on personal preference but the setting is great.

You can't go wrong with the Fox. We took a taxi from hotel. Traffic was horrid. Be sure to arrive when doors open. But the show.....fantastic!!

We had a blast at Fox Theatre. It is decorated to the hilt in its golden opulence. Great venue to see a show. Acoustics and sight lines were great!

Let me start by saying that this theater is easily the most beautiful thing I visited in St. Louis. It has been restored with care and it is wonderful that it is getting use. It is also clearly loved by it's community. I have several major problems with this place, which I think deserve attention. The management see it fit... More

The beautiful, historic architecture and decor set the mood for an evening of Phantom of the Opera. It was my second time to see the play, although the two productions had distinct differences, they were both great! I loved the Fox and it is a good venue for couples, families with older children or singles. Staff are helpful and lines... More

Recently attended the Little Big Town concert at the Fox. We have attended plays before, but never a concert. The concert itself was wonderful, but people on either side of us had their phones on the entire concert. One finally dimmed the light, but the others continued to text with the bright light on. It was very distracting and annoying.... More

Saw The Phantom of the Opera at the Fox and it brought back some wonderful memories from my childhood. The huge lion statues at the base of the stairs are magnificent and those glowing eyes are almost hypnotic. Chandeliers are everywhere and they are huge and glorious. They have a small bar where you can purchase beverages. They have this... More

Recently visited for the first time on 3/15. First time I watched The Phantom of the Opera on the stage. Such a perfect combination. Highly recommended.

I was in town for a volleyball tournament and realized The Phantom of the Opera was in town at The Fox Theatre. Though almost sold out, I went to the box office and bought tickets for myself and six other friends. The best available seats were limited view. The employees told us that we would miss entrances and exits, but... More
