Lots of specialty shops and cafes to visit. Vintage record store plus a renovated movie theater. Great place to spend an afternoon and stay for dinner. Musicians always playing on the street too. A great atmosphere.

We just visited St. Louis last weekend and spent a Saturday afternoon exploring The Loop. There was a parking garage on the main street for only $4 for the day. There were great art, clothing, music, and decor shops as well as several bars & restaurants. We really enjoyed our afternoon in The Loop.

The loop really is an area of one street for a few blocks. Easy to walk. Couple things to note- took the tram to the loop. There were some shady characters off the tram but at night there were at least 6 security folks around to make you feel secure. Some shops and many restaurants to check out.

This is definitely a college spot where the local student body spends time. Some fun places with decent food (ie: Mission Taco Joint), a good live music venue (Blueberry Hill)- just to name a few places/things to do in the area.

The Loop was such a neat area! There are so many different places to shop, eat, and explore. Parking is easy and not pricy by any means. I would recommend it and will be back soon.

This is a destination for out-of-town visitors - as well as a great spot to find a variety of locally-owned good restaurants and deli spots. For several blocks, you can follow the sidewalk stars of such St Louis residents as T S Eliot, Yogi Berra, and Phyllis Diller. Check out the customized bicycle racks in front of the restored Tivoli... More

This place as been around and "cool" since my parents were kids. The owner of Blueberry Hill can be credited with most of the development. Its really a neat place to visit. Be safe of course as it's not a preppy rich area. But its definitely fun!

My friend and I took the metro from downtown to explore the loop. Really neat place, a nice variety of out of the ordinary shops and galleries. Componere Gallery of Art has some outstanding work. I was excited to find a wonderful piece on rice paper by Eleanor Ruder, just perfect for my house. I quickly bought it and had... More
