My wife and I visited The Loop when we were in St. Louis on vacation. It was our fourth day in St. Louis when we went to visit The Loop and find Fitz's (craft root beer maker). The area was under construction. So, we parked in an unattended parking garage, which obviously was very busy in the past and now... More

Wasn't for us...very eclectic area. Lots of places to eat. Seems to be the hookah bar scene. Not really what we were looking for to pass the time. We left pretty quickly.

It feels like this area is being pushed by outside propaganda without anyone truly caring about making it great. This is my third visit in three years and my opinion hasn't changed. Too many chain restaurants surrounded by too many places trying too hard to be trending or eclectic. Add in a vice that feels unsafe and we won't be... More

Not as good as I expected. Did enjoy the walk of fame. Enjoyed eating at Blueberry Hill. Glad we stopped but expected more.

Fun, exciting shopping and walking area of St. Louis! Great time for all families. Restaurants, both fast food and neighborhood specials make for variety and something for everyone. Lots of history in the neighborhood that can be experienced in the sidewalk memorials honoring St. Louis' famous people. A must see if you have the time or want some down time... More

This is easily located and traversed, but it is run down, not very safe feeling and has many, many closed or dated stores. There were some nice places as well, but overall a disappointment. Maybe its nicer when the universities are in session. I do like the walkway to if from campus however.

The Loop is a safe and trendy up and coming neighborhood of little shops, restaurants, and hotels near the Missouri History Museum and the Zoo. Most of the stately houses are beautiful to look at but the neighborhood on the edges of the Loop still needs a lot of work. Plenty of little restaurants and coffee shops to walk to.... More

The Loop is busy, odd, eccentric and urbane. The movie theatre, The Tivoli, has an amazing variety of high quality films, including the National Theatre Live series. The restaurants range from a wonderful felafel take-out place, El Tarboosh, to the always friendly cafe Meshuggah. Shoe stores are for fashionable folks and gift shops have unique offerings. Very few chain stores,... More

The Loop has been a very interesting place to visit over the years. Great shops, great dining and great people watching. The only problem is there has been increased violence in the area over the last few years and you will notice an increased police presence. I have not had any problems while visiting, but I can say that I'm... More

The Delmar Loop offers a lot in the way of restaurants, entertainment and shopping. It's easily accessed and once you've parked your car, everything is within walking distance. Blueberry Hill restaurant is one of our favorites. The food is great and the atmosphere is fun!!!! If you are there for live entertainment in the Duck Room, you will want to... More
