The Loop during the ice festival

We were at The Loop January 2015. Neat restaurants, shops, there were ice sculptures everywhere and tons of stuff for kids approx 12 and under. Not a lot for the teens I had with... read more

This is our version of Times Square in nYC. There are always things to do, see and experience in The Loop. As a 20-something before I had children I spent many a night having dinner and a movie at the Tivoli, or listening to music in VintageVinyl, one of the last true record stores. They are open until midnight and... More

Crime infested, dirty, not worth visiting for any reason. The Delmar Loop is a lost cause. Frightening.

We were at The Loop January 2015. Neat restaurants, shops, there were ice sculptures everywhere and tons of stuff for kids approx 12 and under. Not a lot for the teens I had with me but they enjoyed 'Noodles' a great restaurant and the boho chic shops. Parking kind of hard to find but we did ultimately find a spot.... More

Loved living in STL and having The Loop in my backyard. Great assortment of food, stores and activities. Inserts some history into the street and lively mix of people. I've heard that it can be sketchy at night, but, thank God, I never experienced any negative encounter.

On the "Ten Greatest Streets in America" list! Restaurants, shopping, arts & entertainment, galleries, luxury boutique hotel, funky shops of all kinds, lunch spots and nightlife central all rolled into one! While strolling through it all, don't forget to look down: St. Louis' Walk of Fame features bronze stars embedded in the sidewalk with plaques commemorating the accomplishments of famous... More

The Loop is a lot of fun but not what one would expect in St. Louis. Lots of great shops, restaurants, and more. Great for a night out with friends or day with the family. If you're visiting St. Louis, The Loop needs to be on your "to-do-list".

When I visit my daughter at WUStL, we always go to the Loop. It offers the spectrum in shopping and restaurant choices! I also love the fact that it isn't strictly for students. You see lots of families enjoying the area.

The loop is where it all happens. Near the university and has many great restaurants and shops providing the local flavor. Suggest a visit during daylight if you're not familiar with the area. Area attracts a lot of people that walk just around discovering what is available.

There are stars in the sidewalks dedicated to St. Louis born/raised celebrities. Lots of food choices, many ethnic restaurants (Viet Namese, Ethiopian, Italian, etc.) The shops are on the eclectic side. Suggest, if you do not know the area, to go during daylight.
