We spent some time in Tower Grove Park during an international festival. On a Saturday morning we found plenty to do as we waited for the vendors to open. We walked a few miles on the paved trails, watched a huge group yoga session, browsed a farmer's market and looked at a Clydesdale. There was plenty of beauty in the... More

Tower Grove Park in the heart of St. Louis is a gorgeous place to experience so many activities. Last weekend was the International Festival, with a wonderful diverse population represented in food, music and culture. The farmer's market on weekends offers a gorgeous array of food, flowers, specialty items and is located right by a terrific playground for children from... More

As a city kid, this was a treasure in our back yard!! Now that I have children and grandchildren, this park has so much to offer. Stay in touch with the programs and events at this park and you will be the better person for the experience

If you simply want to enjoy some outdoorsiness, here is the place. The park itself is flat, and simply for a day with the family. The advantage is how close it is to everything fun. The Grove for night life, food on Grand, and te best people watching.

Beautiful grass, tall trees, long avenues, circles, fountains, gazebo, archways. This is a lovely established park.

Fantastic Victorian park. Big and full of unique gazebos. Definitely stop and go for a walk. Locals do yoga there and I have seen some dancing on occasion. Also they have free concerts in the summer on certain days.

One of our favorite parks in the city. The fountain is one of my children's favorite places when it is hot. It was created with pools that fill up and water shoots from the fountain. A lifeguard is on duty on the weekends! Great playgrounds flank the fountain.

tower grove park was a gift to the city from Henry shaw who also established the Missouri botanical gardens adjacent to it. It is a great park for jogging tennis, baseball soccer strewn with ornate gazebos dating back to the 1800s But to me, the gem of the park is the Piper Palm house which is elegant and ornate green house... I had a friend get married in Tower Grove Park and although the park is absolutely beautiful in some places, others are a little scant. Driving through the park is also somewhat confusing. Overall, it's a nice place to stop and have a picnic lunch if you're in the area.
