The second loveliest Victorian era park in America. There's something about the trees, the subtle roll of the landscape, the interesting pavilions. Perfect place for a stroll. I only wish I lived across the street. A much much more special place than the overbuilt, over-paved thing across town that St. Louisians are so proud of.

This park is well maintained with many different attractive gazebos and a large variety of trees, as well as a beautiful water garden. It is a bit of Victorian charm. You can walk in the roads, there are also some sidewalks or ride bikes. On Saturdays during the late spring, summer, and early fall they have the best St. Louis... More

Tower Grove Park is one of my favorite places to spend the day. The keyword here would be "day" - it gets a bit shady during the evening so we always leave before dusk. There are tennis courts, a play ground, a splash pad for summer time, and LOTS of places to walk. You can easily walk around for hours... More

You'll like getting away from it all and you can do this right in the city. It is a great place to go for a simple picnic even during the rush of the day. Great place for a run also although maybe a bit small for bike riding.

We arrived in the late afternoon, rather tired from the week just finished and our long drive. We engaged the services of Jimmy John, a stately Clydesdale, and his driver for a carriage ride through Tower Grove Park. The driver was a wonderful tour guide, telling us so many interesting details about the lovely park. What a great way to... More

My office has it's annual summer picnic here-- it costs us about $65 to rent a larger pavilion, which comes with a single grill and about seven picnic tables. Clean, well maintained, quiet, and lovely. In the summer they have a farmer's market that draws in artisan vendors from a large area. Really a gem-- the ruins along the water... More

This a beautifully restored Victorian era park complete with several colorful gazebos, a bandstand, excellent statues and monuments and well-marked and maintained trails. It's well- manicured, safe and clean and a welcome respite from the bust Grand Blvd. Bring your cameras!

We have gone to tower grove park twice so far since moving to St. Louis in late July and both times have been very positive. The first time was to the international festival and the second time to the Saturday farmers market. Both instances were great.

It's basically Forest Park's classier and more petite cousin. There are tons of festivals in this park, kickball every Saturday and Sunday (all year), and even a Farmer's Market each weekend in the Summer. This park has a beautiful place for brunch called "Piper Palm House." It is dressy and the food is delicious. But after all the festivals are... More

love the new additions in the park. Great for a walk, or family fun. The festival of nations was spectacular. Need more parking options.
