I haven't actually gone to the Tivoli to see a movie. My experience is from going to U-City Family Church there on Sunday mornings. The service is held in the main theatre, which is a very beautiful space for a movie, Easter service, or baptism. I have experience with only one staff member, Pete. He's very helpful and friendly to... More

This theater, near Washington U., is lots of fun. Interesting movies and shows. Off the beaten track. Enjoy the surrounding area - a loving evening opportunity.

We really enjoy the Tivoli theater. Not only is it the same price as any other theater but they have those indy movies you are looking for as well as the big films and even midnight shows that change (I think monthly). The decor is really nice-it brings back the glory of old theaters which curtains etc but the facilities... More

If you like old theaters, this is the place to go! Even though we had already seen the Grand Budapest Hotel, we saw it again just to visit the Tivoli. It was a very enjoyable evening and the theater is fantastic. The staff is friendly & has a sense of humor. The snack menue is impressive. If I lived in... More

We loved the decor, it's a classic, old-school theatre staffed by friendly people and had a great film selection (we watched Grand Budapest Hotel...I can recommend that too!)

I've been to the Tivoli several times in my lifetime. I LOVE that this theater shows movies that you might not get to see on the big screen, usually. But what I love the most is that once you walk through their doors, you feel like you're back in the day of the silver screen. Like maybe when "Gone With... More

We visited this theater while staying at Moonrise Hotel on the Del Mar loop. We arrived a day early for a wedding and had the evening free and so decided on a whim to visit an opening night showing of an Indy flick out of the UK. Great show, and great theater! With only 3 screens, the other two were... More

They have a church service on Sunday. It was actually pretty great . It is non denominational. The music was good and there is coffee and bagels as you walk in. They also have classes for kids of any age.
