We'll start with the finish- Sticky Toffee Pudding. The portion was huge; certainly too much for one, probably just right for 3. The wild caught salmon on basil potatoes with asparagus and tomatoes was very flavorful. My wife chose the reuben, sans bread. The corned beef was very most and the portion generous.

We went to Schlafly's Tap Room for the Schlafly Brewery Tour. The Tap Room is located near downtown St. Louis and is not the one in Maplewood. The Brewery Tour is well worth the minimal expense and effort. Schlafly's is a craft brewery and creates some wonderful beers and ales. The tour begins with a detailed explanation of how beer... A colleague from the conference turned me on to this place. He'd been eating all his meals here, and I wish I had too. Great atmosphere, good food, solid service and decent prices. Didn't have the beer as it was lunch and I still had work to do. However, most folks were imbibing, so I'll bet it was good.

Great brewpub, very good food and an excellent selection of Schlafly brews on tap plus their seasonals...delicious! Suggest getting a sampler before you commit, there are lots to choose from : )

I stopped in this restaurant with my friend when I visited St. Louis. Our waiter was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We started with a cheese and meats board that was absolutely excellent. Although I don't know everything that was on the board, all of it was absolutely delicious. For dinner I was torn between two different options, one of them... More

My husband and I stopped here for a few beers and enjoyed tasting a few of the beers. I wish more of Schlafly's beers were available in store. He normally likes Bud Light only, but really liked the Hefenweizen. I enjoyed the Cask Coffee Stout and the Rasberry Imperial Stout. We did not try the food, but the menu looked... More

Great events plus great selection of craft brews. They will hit the home run on some seasonal ones. Great friendly service from the first craft brew to take on the big brewery...who is that? Starts with Bud...oh well. What a craft brew movement the the Loo has now. Great beer is everywhere with over 25 breweries and growing. Surprisingly good... More

Came for the root beer and beer cheese soup. I'm not a drinker, but I love pub-style food. Their custom root beer was good, but not great. The beer-cheese soup was very good, but I'd have prefered it without the vegtables in it (carrots, mushrooms and celery, I think). Soup had a good flavor, was very creamy and came with... More

A little disappointing that a microbrew has so so beer. There was no beer that wow'ed me. I am a micro brew lover and visit one everywhere we go. This is thebfirst time I did not find ne I liked. i sampled 7 of them. However the blue cheese and bacon mussels were great. There we easily 30 plus musseles... More

Went to the Tap Room for lunch with a few co-workers. They were all impressed with the beer, I had soda. I was disappointed in the" white chicken chili" because it's actually a very thin soup with hardly any chicken that is VERY spicy, full of peppers and onions. Everything else on the menu was typical pub food: fried, cheesy... More
