Excellent, you do not have to buy the most expensive tickets since the sound is fabulous in all areas. They have a variety of music from the orchestra to rock n roll classics and more. http://www.stlsymphony.org/aboutus/powellhall.aspx

We are big Ben Folds fans and traveled five hours to St. Louis to take in his show with the St. Louis Symphony. Powell Hall's interior is stunning and meticulously maintained. The acoustics are just beautiful, especially when Ben conducts his sing alongs. We had 7th row center seats, including one on the aisle and felt like we had ample... More

Just a short note on how great the show was today, "Simply Sinatra"! A wonderful show that was relaxing and so enjoyable. The singer was so "Modest" and yet so special. I am not a great "Sinatra" fan, but his selections of Sinatra songs was most "Touching". The song "My Way" and so many others was so special. The huge... More

What is even cooler than the fact that it is a hall for music, is that they do a special kids' show where they specialize on a composer from the past and play snippets of his music and aim at a lecture for the kids.

We went to the symphony for the showing of Casablanca on Valentine's Day weekend. The symphony played along with the movie. It was a great experience. I had never seen the movie, so it gave me an excuse to watch a classic which I would probably not have done on my own. The symphony played quietly enough to hear the... More

I recommend that everyone take in a Symphony and listen to well prepared professional music that is harmonious and filling to the ears. This is the first Symphony I have seen in years and now I am sure my wife and I will return again to listen and enjoy the evening with friends.

We attended the annual N.Y. Eve special program. Always a sell-out, we enjoyed an excellent program of light classical and the highlights from a selection of Broadway Musicals. The program concluded by 10:00 allowing ample time to meet with family or friends to welcome the New Year at midnight.

Such a gift to St. Louis. But like everything else in the world, the prices so up every year so unless you are Donald Trump, don't expect to attend to many concerts, unless you wish to sit in the last row of the upper balcony. There is nothing wrong with that, but if you are disabled or have a hard... More

Primarily classical music played here. Saw/heard my first live Nutcracker Ballet here. Very elegant surroundings and comfortable seating. Great acoustics so there's not a bad seat in the house, even way up, if you don't mind the climb. I'm sure they have elevators too. My son's high school graduation was held here. Such lovely surroundings. Don't be late - parking... More
