The acoustics in this symphony hall are second to none and the SLSO is world-renowned. The hall itself is beautiful and seats are comfortable. We attend the St. Louis Speakers Series here as well and sight lines are great and sound is excellent for speakers. Any concert will be a delight. If you love music, visit Powell Hall.

Every seat in Powell Hall offers incredible sound quality. For concerts that utilize the full symphony, I often prefer sitting in the very top row to get the most balanced sound and to see the movement of the instruments. The hall is resplendent and majestic. But of course the best thing about it is the St Louis Symphony Orchestra, one... More

Our family saw our niece perform in the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra at Powell Hall. What a pleasure it was. People were dressed nicely, as they should be. I only saw a few people in too casual attire. I would like to go back and see the St. Louis Symphony perform here.

I old converted movie theater turns into one of the great symphony halls, a real treasure. The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra sounds wonderful here. The building itself is worth the visit even if no one performing

A comfortable theatre with fabulous sound quality. Heard the St. Louis Symphony here and was so glad we came to the concert. Enjoyed the wine before the show, too!

Come here if you want to listen to one of the nation's best symphonies in a beautiful venue for an affordable price. For college students especially, there are often great discounted tickets available if you inquire -- just this past fall my friends got tickets to see Lang Lang for $20! If you come for one of their many live... More
