I was very excited to visit this library during my trip to St. Louis, but unfortunately the entire library was closed for a special event on the day of my visit. I didn't see anything on the library's website before or after my trip saying it would be closed. Disappointed, but at least I got a few pictures of the... More

Not just a library anymore, this is a great meeting spot (find out about the parking lot before you go). This library has almost everything you need!

Even if you don't check out any books, you should take a few minutes to enjoy the amazing restoration of the century-old woodwork, marble, and other beautiful details in this Andrew Carnegie-funded public library. It is a shining example of the work that can be done when the public loves a place enough to save it.

Nice new museum but a bit pricey. Found out later if you eat downstairs first you get two dollars off admission. Would be better if they spent more time talking about the great players and less about the uniforms, bats, etc.

I love old buildings and beautiful materials, and this building didn't disappoint. So nice to come in from the heat and enjoy the beauty and solitude.

Saw this in my AAA tour book. The building has been updated several years ago, they moved all of the books out of the building . We walked around looking at their books and ceilings. We missed the 1 PM tour, had another appointment then. But we talked to the tour guide for a few minutes about the building, he... More
