The iconic image of the Gateway Arch on the west bank of the Mississippi is, well, iconic. Based at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Park it provides a great experience for young and old. Those who do not like tight spaces may be a little squirmy, but unless the claustrophobia is pronounced it ought not be a problem. Besides, the... More

Due to construction did not see much. When construction is done, it will be a great place to see. Great family activity

If you're traveling through the Midwest or stopping for a visit in St. Louis, the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Park is worth checking off your "bucket list". If you do want to take the trip to the top of the Arch, you absolutely should buy your tickets online prior to your visit (at least one day in advance or more).... More

It had been raining and the area is all torn up for renovation and was muddy. It will certainly be nice once the renovation is completed.

A must see if in St. Louis! This is a wonderful example of human ingenuity and persistence. Be sure to arrive early if you want to take the "tram" ride as it sells out quickly. This is a National Park and as such the staffing is definitely at a minimum. The site is under construction but still well worth the... More

This is the park surrounding the Arch, which rises magnificently into the western sky. One can pause and reflect the ponderous structure, take photos, and stroll leisurely before entering to view the city and river from the top of the gleaming metal tower. Only one leg is open at a time.

Although under some construction, there is decent parking. 3D movie is very interesting as is the museum tour. Egg ride in original conveyance is awesome though small. Great view from the top!

We enjoyed the park, the Arch, and the riverboat ride. Of coarse you don't ride too far up or down the river, but the photos of the Arch from the river were well worth it! After the riverboat ride we proceeded to our line to ride to the top of the Arch. My son said, "No one tells you how... More
