I'm sure most everybody who travels to National Parks know to book tours in advance and the trip up to the top of the Arch is no exception. It wasn't very busy and we arrived late in the afternoon and the tickets were sold out for the day. Book online well in advance of your trip. Also plan on arriving... More

It was very informative. We were there in the winter so no crowds and very little wait time for a ride up the arch. There was a lot of construction in the area with very poor signage.

Visited here due to the fact, how could you not!!?? Made sure we arrived around opening time, this way queues were not long. Once inside simply buy what ticket you want. We decided just on the trip up the arch and a look round the museum, purely due to we were limited on time, so much to see and do... More

Go in the arch very interesting place to learn about the story of the arch and the west discovery. Nice place to relax just by downtown.

There are three parts: the famous Gateway Arch, the Old Courthouse, and the Old Cathedral. All are worth seeing, and are free (there is a charge to ride to the top of the Arch). On this trip, I visited the Old Courthouse, where the Dred Scott case started; it is well worth visiting and has a pleasant museum shop.

When we visited, they were renovating their exhibits...all of them. There was pretty much nothing to do. You could look at some dioramas and explore the building some. We only went through it to kill time. I would be interested to go back when its renovated.

The arch is well, the arch, pretty much what you would expect. Great view and excellent architecture. The Court House has some fascinating history and most of the exhibits are excellent. The Museum of Westward Expansion is extremely poorly done. It's a hodge podge of random disconnected items with no coherent presentation of a narrative.

As much as I despised the Arch experience (all the waiting ... the waiting ... the waiting), I found the Jefferson Expansion Memorial Park to be quite the experience. My kids and I are Old West junkies. This place was great. And I only found it because I had a long wait while trying to get to the top of... More

We visited the museum and found it really interesting on the history of the growth of the USA. The Lewis and Clark Expedition and what it brought to our country at the time. The museum was well laid out brimming with information. It is well worth a visit. There is security check prior to entry. Staff is very nice and... More

The Dred Scott case was heard at the old courthouse...very nice old courthouse. Well-maintained by the government. Great 17 minute video to explain the ins/outs of the 1850's. Can't wait to see how they complete/finish the park.
