The park is currently undergoing renovations that are not going to be finished until 2017. The arch can be visited, but the park is currently a dirt pile.

Despite living only 20 minutes away, I had not been here for 20+ years. I'm glad we stopped by on a whim. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the History Clubhouse section of the museum, and could have spend our entire visit there. While I personally would have enjoyed a few more interactive exhibits, I found it to be very interesting. There... More

This courthouse is in fantastic condition. Right now due to the construction going on it has a lot more history in it so you can really explore the whole building. They have done a fantastic job of bringing historical artifacts in for people to see.

The grounds the park were closed to construction July 26, 2015. You visit the Arch at the South entrance. So North area is closed. Nice views of the Arch from the South entrance.

I will be interested to see how this looks after the expansion is done. Short of that very well done grounds, area. Worth stopping by.

For all the issues following the recent terrorist incidents, the staff at the JNEMP really try to make things go as smoothly as possible. I'm claustrophobic so I wasn't sure I would be able to go up in the little elevators, but they were very accommodating and ensured everything went well for me. Be aware the top of the arch... More

Going through security was a little off-putting. We paid extra to go up to the top in the little barrel ride but it wasn't what I expected. The look out windows were SO small and you had to push past a lot of other people to peer out them. I enjoyed the movie about how it was built, but given... More

We went up into the arch sunday morning around 9:30. We bought tickets for 6 the day before and could not get any later times. Lucky for us that we went early. By the time that we got out around 10:30 the lines to get in were much longer. The tramway to the top is really neat, be prepared for... More

It's $10 for per adult to go up to the top of the tallest arch gateway in the world but it's worthy. You can overlook Missouri and Illinois as well as the largest river in the Northern America - Mississippi River. It is a bit crowded even though the park already tries to control the number of visitors per time... More

Given the opportunity, you should definitely go up in the Arch. The trip up might be somewhat cozy (rather an understatement), but once at the top, it's not at all scary, and I don't like heights. Beautiful!
