I gave it a basic rating only because there is major construction going on around the Arch and everything is closed off during the construction. You can get to the Arch and you can get to the Riverboats, but that is it. They are changing the entrance to the Arch, expanding the riverfront around the Arch and this park is... More

A trip to St. Louis without a visit to the Arch and Expansion Memorial is not a real visit! Lots of history and is fun to learn about and experience! Brings St. Louis and American West alive! Fun for all ages.

It really is worth the trip to the top of the Arch. One will appreciate it more after watching the video about building he Arch. We had a great conversation with two Rangers and learned a lot. Free advice: but tickets in advance. We bought our tickets for Saturday on Friday and avoided several lines. Also, go early.

Part of the overall ST L experience....lying on the grass, under the trees and looking up towards the Arch. Relaxing after walking along the waterfront.

Great park on Mississippi river commemorates among other things the westward movement of American explorers. It is located near the starting point of Lewis and Clark. expedition. It is a beautiful place for a walk. The Museum is under construction but the greatest attraction is the magnificent Arch.

My rating might be a bit unfair. I'm sure it might be great when it's done but right now there's nothing but costruction there!

The iconic image of the Gateway Arch on the west bank of the Mississippi is, well, iconic. Based at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Park it provides a great experience for young and old. Those who do not like tight spaces may be a little squirmy, but unless the claustrophobia is pronounced it ought not be a problem. Besides, the... More

Due to construction did not see much. When construction is done, it will be a great place to see. Great family activity
