If you go, do not miss the Lewis and Clark movie. There were only my husband and I and one other person in the entire theater, which was so sad because the movie was fantastic. The entire museum is beautiful and informative. I learned a lot!

Please note, this review is based on our visit, last August. There is currently contruction at the Arch, so there may be changes not mentioned below. Our group of nine (5 adults - 4 children) visited the St Louis last summer, and had a marvelous time! I visted the Arch when I was a child, and wanted our children to... More

Go the museum, explore the grounds, and by ALL MEANS, go to the top of the arch! Yes it can be crowded and the wait can be long, but the view from the top and the rude up cannot be described. The grounds are under quite a bit of construction at the edges, but the arch is in full glory... More

This is the park that the Arch resides in, and extends across to the old courthouse. The grounds are very green and well kept. There is a parking garage attached to the edge, or there is other parking that can be found. Currently the riverfront is undergoing a major construction project, so that area is rather dull and unoccupied. Definitely... More

While this museum is a bit hard to follow, from historical sequence viewpoint, perhaps because it is laid out in a half circle, but the exhibits were very interesting and well done, mostly dioramas. Good for school-age children and adults.

My husband had been trying to get me up to the top of the Arch for 34 Years! Well my nephew talked me into it last weekend! If you don't like elevators, cramped spaces, or heights you better just enjoy the Museum and the views from below!! I never get tired of looking at the Arch!

I'd been to the Arch as a little girl and now I promised to take my niece up. We had been to St. Louis three times prior to this visit and each time the long lines for tickets or security prohibited us from going up. This time, I did what was recommended...I purchased my tickets on line. We stayed at... More

We spent a good amount of time on Saturday afternoon/evening at memorial. If you want to ride the tram to the top of the arch, I would recommend buying your tickets ahead of time, or prepare for a wait, at least on the weekend. Because of the wait on Saturday, we actually went back down on Tuesday afternoon and we... More

This park is what will bring you to the archway, courthouse and riverfront area. It is a beautiful walk with gorgeous shade trees keeping you cool as you walk to the archway from the parking garage on Washington avenue. My only complaint is that I wish they had more signs directing people where to go. We found one generic sign... More
