Unfortunately the Park is under construction at the moment, but you can just imagine how wonderful it will be when completed. Located downtown on the edge of the MIssisipi River, the main attraction in the park, is undoubtedly The Arch, which is a wonderful engineering structure. Thanks to advice on Tripadvisor, we bought our $10 tickets on line and saved... More

We went up into the Arch, quit the experience and view. If you can handle the small car you ride to the top in, only takes a couple minutes. The view is spectacular. We also visited the Old Courthouse. The courthouse is full of history that played a part in the civil war. There is a lot of construction going... More

Only 50 years old, this arch takes people to the top on an elevator and some steps. A St. Louis landmark that you must see when you're in town. Be sure to see the very interesting movie telling the interesting story of how it was built back in the 1960's.

If you've never gone up in the Arch, it's worth it at least once. you can buy tickets in the facility or in The Old Courthouse. Right now, there is a lot of construction going on, so walking there will be a bit of a hassle. They stop running people up around 6:30 or so. Plan on about 15-20 minutes... More

Very nice place but under construction, so hard to maneuver. Definitely recommend the visit to The Arch. But not if you are claustrophobic 😀. The cabins are very small, and have to fit 5 people. Recommend purchase tics in advance. Very interesting view from the top, especially the windows that are closer to the trams. Because you are looking down... More

We've been fortunate to travel to many different places, but The Arch is truly unique. The view from the top is stunning, but we were even more impressed by the design and engineering that went into its construction. This special area will be even more fun to visit when current construction is complete.

If we are patient, this attraction is sure to be another great American landmark. Upon prior visits, I have found the Arch and its surrounding grounds to be a wonderful experience, both above ground and below, but right now it is quite limited, dirty, and noisy. I look forward to returning in a few years to see the improvements.

The Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Park, aka The Arch, is normally a five star attraction however, it is undergoing a major renovation. Hence the low rating. The museum is closed for renovation. If you want to visit even just the base of the Arch, you have to get tickets at the Old Courthouse two blocks west of the Park, or... More
