I had to see what all the hype was about, not I know. Creamiest, thickest custard ever. It was very hard to choose what I wanted, I wish I could have tasted it all. I settled for all shook up which has bananas and reeces. I added marshmallow, yummy! My husband just had a cone and was not as impressed... More

Ted Drew's...a St. Louis original...and only discovered by me this year. I highly recommend the Cardinal Sin. It's vanilla custard covered with hot fudge and a tart cherry sauce and it's so delightful I would drive many miles out of my way to have some. Another favorite is the Lemon Crumb...vanilla custard with lemon creme and graham crackers. So wonderful... More

Ted Drew's frozen custard is a St. Louis staple! Once you try it, you will crave it. There's tons of choices, but the Concrete (named that way because you can turn it upside down and it remains the same consistency and holding it upright) is a delicious, rich, creamy custard which is, or course, frozen The hard part is choosing... If you like custard, Ted Drew's is the place to go! There is a large selection, prices are reasonable, and the service is extraordinarily fast! Did I mention it is delicious?!

We ask at our hotel where we could get ice-cream. They said everyone needed to have Ted Drews Frozen Custard. So away we went, however everyone in St Louis had the same idea, so we settled for McDonald's soft serve. However we went back in the afternoon the following day and it was wonderful, creamy delicious Wonderful

Love Ted Drewe's!!! Finally tried the crater and OMG it's amazing!!! I'm always amazed at how fast and efficient the place is run. The employees are fantastic and so friendly. The ice cream is amazing and there are so many choices of flavors. If you are in the area you must stop here for dessert!!

I can use allot of large and un-common words to describe how good this was, but HOT DAMN it was good. What was really cool, the owner came out and had a small chit chat with us and told us the history of the business. My only complaint......... I live too far away and I can't every combination... so sad....

A part of St. Louis History, you should stop by and try it! While the lines can look daunting, they move quickly. The concretes are great, try the pistachio! It is a family run operation and they have a scholarship program for their high school part-time workers that has sent many young St. Louis teenagers to college.

Ted Drewe's is a frozen custard stand that specializes in overly sweet desserts. For most non-locals, this is not worth the trip as I find this to be nearly inedible. Their regular frozen custard, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate is okay but the rest of their offerings will send you into sugar overload. I just don't understand the popularity of this... More
