One of the many highlights on our Route 66 trip was a Ted Drews 'concrete'. Yessssssssss, Delicious and creamy. Loads of flavours to choose from, plus naughty yummy toppings. And yes, we got the obligatory holding it upside down shot!! It was such a hot day when we visited there where loads of people there, but we didn't have to... More

I can't possibly say anything to add to how good this place is! You just need to go and see for yourself! Don't be intimidated by the lines standing around outside of Ted Drew's because these kids (the workers) know how to move the line... it goes fast. They're really helpful and friendly and don't mind explaining things to you.... More

Don't miss a trip here for frozen custard. It's creamier than ice cream and has a great mouthfeel. There is an enormous amount of flavors and the combinations are only limited by your imagination! Expect crowds but the line moves quickly. We were there on a hot day and stood in the parking lot eating our treats (no inside seating... More

Yummy for my tummy! When one of my friends said this place was better than a long-time childhood favorite in NYC, he was absolutely right! SO good! My husband had the banana split and loved it! "All" I had was a hot fudge sundae and I thought I died and gone to ice cream heaven. Although the name says "custard",... More

Stopped here on a friends recommendation and we were not disappointed. The concrete mix-ins with fresh fruit were delightful on this hot day.

Whenever we are visiting St. Louis, Ted Drew's is always one of our first stops! We usually make a point of going at these twice each visit, if not more. Delicious!

I lived in St. Louis about 30 years ago, and that's about the last time I had Ted Drewes until this past weekend. I was almost afraid to go back, thinking that maybe it wouldn't be as good as I remembered. I had nothing to worry about, it was fantastic! My husband and I went in the afternoon this past... More

I took my son for the first time. As usual on a weekend night, the place is packed and driving around for parking is part of the adventure. The lines meandered into the road, and we spent a lot of time deciding on what kind of concrete to get. After being unable to decide, we agreed to get two minis... More

This is a true STL staple that doesn't disappoint. Incredible varieties of custard. Parking is limited so be prepared. It is well worth any wait.

Family vacations to St. Louis have always included a stop at Ted Drewes! Every concrete is always better than the last. The smooth, creamy, delicious custard that makes other frozen custards feel mediocre. The healthy dose of toppings on the sundaes. And all the different choices and combinations! It's definitely worth a stop, if you're in the neighborhood, or even... More
