My wife and I were traveling back home to Illinois and decided to stop by and give Ted Drew's a try. Before we got out of town, we turned around and went back to inquire about purchasing it to sell at our Tropical Sno locations. One week later I am getting ready to pick up our second order. This stuff... More

Ted Drews is a St. Louis tradition. Can't be beat on a hot summer night or a frosty winter afternoon. Cardinal Sin is my favorite, but everything is great.

Living in St.Louis for my entire life I had to finally try this popular place. This was definately a place that was as good as people say. I got a mini banana and peanut butter custard. It was the best custard I have had. It tasted so fresh and the prices were extremely reasonable. I will be back many more... More

Grew up blocks from the Grand Ave. Ted Drewe's. My favorite is the kiddy hot fudge. Pure and simple, creamy, rich custard ice cream with thick and chocolatey fudge. We pretty much went there every night in the summer. Other family favorites were the fudge concretes, and the dipped cone. The kids he hires are high schoolers and have to... More

Always a staple on a visit to relatives in St. Louis. Frozen Custard is hard to find and Ted Drew's is the best. Fast service even with long lines. Raspberry concretes great.

Yet another discovery courtesy of the Travel Channel's Man Vs Food. On arrival, there was approximately 300 people lined up over 10 operating shop front windows. However, don't let the lines fool you, you get through these sort of crowds in under 10 minutes. As a typical tourist, we ordered a concrete, being a frozen custard dessert that you can... More

Everything on the menu is "to die for". Be sure to read everything offered before you order, especially the "special items" posted around the order windows. Whatever you decide on--you won't be disappointed.

Great little soft serve shop with MANY choices! Cashiers/order takers can be a little rude, but the ice cream is quite good!

Ted Drew's is one of those iconic St Louis places everyone, visitors and residents alike, should experience. Their frozen custard is incredibly delicious, service quick and prices reasonable. They have a huge selection as well. Kids can purchase sundaes in little baseball batting helmets too that are a lot of fun. The place has a lot of character as well.... More
