Family vacations to St. Louis have always included a stop at Ted Drewes! Every concrete is always better than the last. The smooth, creamy, delicious custard that makes other frozen custards feel mediocre. The healthy dose of toppings on the sundaes. And all the different choices and combinations! It's definitely worth a stop, if you're in the neighborhood, or even... More

Great custard with many many different flavor variations too choose from. Not much for parking but worth the wait. I would recommend to visit if you are in the area.

We were looking forward to this place since so many people had talked it up. But in the end, we were disappointed. The custard is just average, nothing special. It is not worth the long line. We felt the shakes at Sonic were better.

I was told I must go here if I came to St. Louis for custard and I did. I am really glad I tried it! It was definitely one of the best custards I have ever eaten. I had the all shook up and it was very tasty worth trying.

Everyone has a 'custard' shoppe in their home town but Ted Drew's is a step above all just in quality. THE ABSOLUTELY SMOOTHEST DESERT YOU WILL PUT INTO YOUR MOUTH! PERIOD. Not Graeter's

Simply awesome treats and a cool atmosphere. Reminds me of going out for ice cream when I was child.

This place is a must when in st. Louis! Its location was a little off the traditional tourist path, but the extra drive was well worth it! We all went back and ordered another item and stuffed ourselves! Great prices and so creamy! We fell in love with this frozen custard : )

The only negative thing I have to say is that I don't live close enough to Ted Drewes to go more often! My favorite is the Terra-Mizzou. Yummy!!!

Ted Drew's is wonderful. St. Louis' home for frozen custard - famous for the upside down "concrete" but don't try it after you get it or you might lose it as my stepdaughter did! Try all flavors - you can't go wrong. Enjoy Route 66 or the one on Grand Avenue. They also sell trees at Christmas if you're in... More

All the guidebooks mention this, and rightly so. You simply have to try the “frozen custard”, or “concrete” as they also call it...though don’t worry it is neither custard nor concrete, it is just the thickest creamiest ice cream that you could want. It comes in sizes from “micro” to enormous, but we would suggest the “mini”...it is plenty big... More
