Ted Drewes is a great place to experience mid-western custard and a bit of Saint Louis culture. They have a yummy basic custard, to which many items can be added. Ted Drewes also offers many designed flavor combinations with local influences (Terra-Mizzou anyone?). A highly recommended and fun stop.

Ted Drew's had become a St. Louis institution and a favorite of locals and out-of-towners. The menue is creative and a huge variety of options and flavor combinations await you. Prices are reasonable considering the product quality. We often choose a turtle sundae.

The frozen custard here is delicious. There was a line, but that just means that it is popular. It is worth the wait! Also, if you ask Siri, make sure you specify frozen custard...because she'll get confused.

IF you go to Ted Drews, you will always see a line there. But don't worry they are very quick on providing you with the best Frozen Custard in St Louis. They have been there for many years and there is a reason for that. Their service is great, their custard is unbelievable and the experience unique.

We used to to to 'Ted's' when it had car hops! That was waaaay back. It's bigger, but amazingly efficient, staffed by nice kids who rush around like bees to a hive. It hasn't lost it's neighborhood vibe and fun atmosphere. All the custard is vanilla, but the combinations are endless. The Concrete is the big attraction, but unless you... More

How can you go to St.Louis and not go to this historic place? Ted Drews is a classic throw back to an earlier day type place. Absolutely fantastic ice cream. To many choices to name but all are excellent.

Always great tasting and fun experience-we love the frozen custard and it is easy to get to. There is usually a line, but it moves fast.

Nothing better then the real thing in ice cream. Worth the wait if any, given the time of day. The Cristy was amazing, warm brownie, Carmel and chocolate fudge. Don't pass up the visit, you will regret it.

I had to see what all the hype was about, not I know. Creamiest, thickest custard ever. It was very hard to choose what I wanted, I wish I could have tasted it all. I settled for all shook up which has bananas and reeces. I added marshmallow, yummy! My husband just had a cone and was not as impressed... More
