My husband and I went to "The Sing Off" concert this week. Neither of us had been to the Peabody (formerly the Kiel) for YEARS! We had heard that it was refurbished so we were looking forward to seeing the building as well as the concert. The building faces Market Street. The entrance is easy to find. As soon as... More

Just saw Brit Floyd last week. This place has awesome acoustics. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. We had seats in the lower mezzanine center stage, fantastic view. Can't say if this is the best place to see a concert in town, but I would buy tickets to see another concert again.

I recently saw the Book of Mormon at the Peabody. The theatre interior has been beautifully refurbished. The seating was not so great. The seats are narrow and really packed tight. Inside I felt safe and enjoyed the show immensely. However, parking across the street was a little scary. Homeless people loitered all about and were opening drinking from paper... More

Went to see Brit Floyd with another couple. We sat in the orchestra section, left side facing the stage. I really don't think there was a bad seat in the house. Great acoustics and the architectural details were phenomenal. There were drinks, cocktails and snacks avaliable for purchase. We parked in a pay parking lot ($20.00) on the left side... More

I have attended several different events at the Peabody Opera House from concerts to play and musicals, to a special catered event. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful.

They recently restored it to its original 1931`architect... is amazing...My father and I went to see the Shen Yun performing arts . Staff was very helpful...expect to pay 7.00 for a pop or water..4.00 for a candy bar...No long waits at intermission to use restroom..(no one was willing to pay 7 bucks for an 12oz soda). The show was slow... More

My wife and I went here to see Book of Mormon and the place was just great. Even though our seats were on the bottom level, I walked all level to look at the restoration and it's just beautiful. I didn't order anything, but it looked like there were plenty of drink options and you could bring the drinks into... More

Attended performance of Pippin here. The Peabody (formerly Kiel Opera House) is a lovely space which has been restored very nicely. Because of its size, there are no bad seats (not on Orchestra where I was).

This venue is really amazing. The architecture and artistic design are just lovely. It is huge. Staff was great. We went here to see Il Divo and the acoustics were really great. It transports you to a new heavenly place.
