If you are a history buff you will for sure enjoy a visit here. Do some research and get a guide book as many famous people are interned there. Civil War generals and gangsters and everything inbetween!

The Who's Who of St. Louis are buried in this cemetery, with the monuments to match. It is beautifully landscaped and well worth driving through.

This is one of those old cemetaries that is beautifully landscaped and full of great architecturally done mosoleums and tomb stones. My daughter was even told to go there and check out the doors of the mosoleums when she was studying architecture in college.

Many of the most important citizens of the historic city of St. Louis are buried in this very large and well-maintained park. We visited on a beautiful fall day so as to photograph both some of the important graves and the magnificent trees.

Don't travel alone, and go only during broadest daylight. It's a beautiful park, with some historical graves well worth seeing if you're into that kind of thing. The nearby streets have a lot of gang activity, however, so beware.

An incredable place to visit so much history! Again the neighborhood is not too great, visit when the sun shines bright!
