Stay in this neck of the woods and you won't be sorry! Shopping is wonderful and many restaurants to choose from. Lovely neighborhood surrounds it and just walking is very enjoyable. Also Kings Highway is right next to it which will take you many places such as Forest Park and the Botanical Gardens.

Not as much shopping as I would like but there are a ton of restaurants, bars and dessert places. Fun place to walk around and explore.

There are so many things to do and great shopping at the CWE.. I had a blast at Blueberry Hill. ( I think that is what it was called)

My favorite place to go in St. Louis to eat and to just enjoy a nice evening. It has nice sushi restaurants, a nice coffee place, chocolate place, ice cream place and bunch of other nice restaurants. Just walking in this area rejuvenates you.

It you like waking and seeing old houses and building's, this will keep you busy. Their's little shops and some great places to eat, we have been a few time's now and have favorite places we go every time we're here.

The central west end is a very fun place to dine. Everything is within walking distance. There is a place for everyone to enjoy. People are friendly. You always see people walking their dogs. There's alot of students who live in the area that attend SLU or Wash U.

As a young adult in STL, I love a visit to the CWE. There are a lot of great restaurants, coffee shops and restaurants around here and it definitely has a very hipster & fun vibe to it.

We stayed at the Chase Park Plaza and spent some time walking around the Central West End (CWE) neighborhood. Very impressive with the variety of restaurants, bars, clubs, stores, and coffee shops. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the streets and sidewalks, too. Some of the businesses had water bowls for pets to enjoy on their patios! The string... More

I like the central west end just because it reminds me of other locations, such as New York, Chicago. There are unique restaurants in walking distance and coffee houses. This is not normal for St. Louis, where there are malls and very few neighborhoods restaurants or coffee houses.
