Yes it is only 2 blocks but the pieces are so well done. It took my family about 11/2 hrs to get through. With young children we spent as much time looking as we did discussing the pieces. It's nice to look at art without the confines of the museum rules and get up close with the pieces for kids.

I suppose it's a nice break from the commercial buildings downtown, but certainly not an attraction worth seeking out.

My kids and I love visiting this interesting little spot right in the heart of downtown. It's especially fun in the summer when you can enjoy the spraygrounds and the shallow pools. The sculptures you can climb on and other interactive exhibits are a bonus!

This is a very interesting place to see with an awesome atmosphere particularly at night while the lights are all on. Very nice artwork and sculptures to walk around and explore through the park. Great picture opportunity too. At night there are lots of colored lights to decorate the fountains and landscape.

I say it is okay. It has two blacks of sculptures that request that you do not climb on them or sit on them and because this is St. Louis, that means that the stay at home moms just chat with each other and don't pay attention as their little 2 year old's try to climb on things that if... More

The garden has lots of different statues in a relativelz small area. In a warm day, all the kids plays around the water fountains. Cool!

A short walk beyond the Old Courthouse brings you to the City Garden. On a hot day there are several creative fountains for the kiddies (and shame-free adults) to splash in. Put this on your route for a downtown walk through St Louis.

We were looking for an inexpensive activity to do after dinner with two kids (elementary and middle school age). So, at the suggestion of the hotel concierge, we walked 4 blocks to the park not really knowing what to expect. Arriving at City Garden, we were pleasantly surprised by the creativity, beautiful artistry, and clever designs displayed throughout the park.... More

It was a beautiful walk the length of 3 blocks. Fountains, sculptures and flowers made it very romantic. It was very clean and well maintained.
