Stumbled across the city garden and really enjoyed walking though it. There's interesting art and design sculptures to look at and also fun for the kids to run around.

We were in St. Louis for 2 days; one of the days was the coolest day of the summer and one of the days was the hottest days of the summer. On the hottest day (101 degrees; 111 heat index) we walked from our hotel to Busch stadium with a pit stop at the City Garden. Yes, this park is... More

Very neat idea of the city to do. Green spaces in a typical downtown area - they make it feel so much less city- downtown feel. Lots of seating and walking area. Saw lots of families and people on bikes. Just a very pleasant area to relax and spend some time enjoying the outdoors and nature

My kids enjoyed it a lot specially when they found out that they could run around and get wet and have a great time in the city.

Loved that it was only a couple blocks from our hotel. We walked over and toured the different sculptures in the park. Plenty of places to sit and relax. Children were enjoying the fountains. Seems like it would be a nice place to visit during a lunch hour.

We arrived at a restaurant to early for lunch service and decided to give City Garden a visit. This is a free attraction and takes up about two blocks. There were several children swimming/wading in the water attractions. Maps were available in white hinged boxes that explained the various pieces of artwork and enhanced the visit greatly. While we were... More

Some friends and I visiting St. Louis and staying downtown had to visit this garden. We probably went on one of the most hot and humid days we were there but it was worth it. We all loved that all the kids were playing in the fountains and having so much fun. We loved the sculptures and even the placement... More

My kids loved splashing in the fountains and pools at the City Garden. Lovely sculptures, too. Refreshments on site, as well. Was a little crowded but it didn't seem to bother anyone (and it was a very hot Saturday afternoon when we were there). Would recommend for kids.

We walked in the early morning, and the sculptures were lovely. They are well placed, making this park a delight!

We weren't sure where the sculptures were in the park so we started closer to Union Station. Let's say that seeing a homeless person take off her pants to wash them in a fountain was not what we expected to see. There were a lot of homeless people and vagrants hanging out in that section of the park in the... More
