In the winter it is a place where kids can run and let off some steam. In summer it is a place where kids can run and get wet-bring some dry clothes for the children. Delightful and whimsical sculptures fill a park in downtown St. Louis. Continuous films run on a blank wall highlighting art installations. Never met anyone who... More

While downtown St. Louis is probably past its bustling heyday, there's still some gems to be found. City Garden is a wonderfully done example of what good city planning and appreciation of art can do for an urban area. It's a safe, beautiful, and pleasant walk down a few blocks along Market Ave, and absolutely worth the walk. Beautiful to... More

This two block park really beautifies this area of downtown. The diversity of sculptures fits kids and adults with something for everyone. My dog loved watching herself on the video screen. if you are downtown, it is close to you and worth the short walk to see it.

An unexpected pleasure. This spectacular free park is home to some wonderful public art. In summer the splash fountain is a magic spot for kids.

This park opened in recent years and is great place to relax and view some interesting sculptures. Combine with a visit to the Arch or Union Station.

It's outdoors and it is free. We went on a sunny, fall day. It's not really designed for small children, but our adult child loved it. If you are short on time, but still want to cram one more thing into your St. Louis trip, give it a try. We walked through the whole thing in 30 minutes.

This was a lovely park with water features, trees, flowers, and sculptures. It was a sunny warm fall day when I walked around. There were pumpkins on many of the walls and many of the flowers were still in bloom. I wish I had more time to enjoy the garden.

This is a very nice and free sculpture garden with a lot of different sculptures including fountains. A lot of places to sit and enjoy the area. Very close to the old court house.

This is the neatest spot in downtown St. Louis! A variety of cool art sculptures make this park so interesting. Walking around offers great views of the arch and downtown St. Louis. Something very tranquil and serene about City Garden! There is on street parking next to the park and best of all its free!

We visited the City Garden on a beautiful Fall day. I can see how it would be fun to go to in summer with all the fountains, but we enjoyed our walk through the garden very much. We picked up a free map at the beginning of our visit and made sure we saw all the artwork and fountains. The... More
