A beautiful garden setting with water fountains that children are allowed and encouraged to run through and swim in. My two five year olds spent over two hours running through the fountains, swimming in the fountain areas and climbing the waterfall. The sculptures are also magnificent. I should add the lifeguard on duty was very attentive and did a great... More

Fountains you can play in, walkways which make music, a grotto with a multimedia installation which allows you to sit in lovely grove, listening to music, while watching yourself sit in a lovely grove, listening to music. We walked it early Sunday morning, and got to watch the most joyful dog I've ever seen play in the fountain. It made... More

This garden is planted full to the edges of every bed, lush and lovely. There are sculptures and water features as well. We were surprised to see that two pools and a water fountain welcomed children to play in them, with a park employee sitting in a clearly marked "staff" chair to supervise. That is something I haven't seen in... More

This is an amazing blend of art and nature in downtown St. Louis. Unfortunately, a little too much pan handling. Homeless seem to know the routine of the security officers and work around them. Just a little unnerving at night.

I stumbled across this park while walking around downtown St. Louis and I'm so glad I did. I appreciate the arts and I was excited to see the variety of sculptures scattered in the park. They were unique and the park was beautiful. I would rather hang out at this park than the Arch.

This is a wonderful public park very close to downtown St. Louis and the Gateway arch. Our family had a wonderful time spending the morning there. There are several interactive water elements that the kids can play in, so be sure to bring some extra clothes. We didn't see any changing rooms, but it was very close to the hotel.... More

The city garden is in need of some TLC. The flowerbeds were bare and filled with garbage. We did watch some children play in the fountains which is a nice perk since most public water features are closed off for splashing around. The park has some great potential but needs a makeover!

There are quite a few things to look at. Go during the day and at night to see it lit up. There are water areas for the kids to play, which they really enjoy.

I wish we had more time to come back and walk through this park. The taxis to our hotel passed it several times and it looked impressive.

Sculptures were nice, but the kids especially liked the free water fun! There were waterfalls, a small pool and water jets the kids could run through. It was very clean.
