We love the City Garden. Lots of strange things to look at and keep the kids wondering and asking questions. Actually a lot of it made me wonder. Not much to do but play in the water the comes up out of the ground. One tiny restaurant close, but expensive. Did not see any other food or drinks available since... More

City Garden is a wonderful place downtown that takes up two blocks in the mall along Market Street between the Civil Courts building and 8th Street. It was built by the St. Louis Foundation, a generous private charitable foundation for the good of the City of St. Louis. I have been here many times since it was built a few... More

We went about 8:30 at night and our kids spent 30 minutes running through the fountain splash pad. It was beautiful at night and worth the last minute decision to check it out.

The garden is downtown and very convenient to visit. It is basically a sculpture garden, with many wonderful pieces. It is definitely worth a half hour to walk around.

Wish my hometown city had something like this! Parking along downtown streets is free after 7pm. Kids loved the water area. It was a great end to a long day of driving for inexpensive fun.

Tucked in the downtwon area, running from Kiener Plaza west, this delightful park is filled with beautiful sculpture, usable water sculptures and a light-hearted ambiance. Many families brought little children to wade in the fountains. At lunchtime, many food trucks park here to serve the workers in the office buildings. They join the families, visitors and tourists enjoying this beautiful island... More

We visited the City Garden about 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday and had the place mostly to ourselves. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained. The art is unique and kid friendly. A nice little break from the city.

Let me start by saying this place is the best spray jet park in the city for kids. However what you will also find if you open your eyes is alot of pedophiles lurking around especially at mid day or after school gets out. They work in teams often. They are there taking pictures through bushes of your children. I... More

2 blocks of park in the city. Cute and small. Kids were playing and splashing in the water. Especially good for families with preschool aged kids. Nice place for picnic or a little stroll.

Cute garden. Most things are interactive. You can get in the "pools" and climb on the art. It shouldn't take more than an hour, unless you decide to lounge. Enjoyed it!
