We grabbed a cup of coffee and took a quick morning walk to City Garden while we were in St Louis. We enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend it to others, but as one other reviewer noted, it's won't take up much time so don't plan your entire day around it.

The slash pad, sculptors, and green space is a breath of fresh air in downtown St Louis. The kids eat it up and it is a great way to cool off while having them use up their energy. The best part it's free.

We did our own tour of the gardens but used the free city garden app on my iPhone. The app offers a one minute oral explanation of each of the sculptures. Without it I would have had no idea what most of them represented.

Wonderful examples of gardens and statues - from Pinocchio, to veiled examples of MLK. Nicely done and free walking tour.

Beautiful little park located in the heart of downtown St. Louis. Within walking distance to Busch Stadium, Hooter's, The Arch, courthouses Culinaria grocery market, Rooster, Bailey's Range, Park Ave Coffee, The Westin Hotel and a ton of little nooks and crannies. The park sets right off Death in the Afternoon which is a great place to grab a delicious bite... More

This was on our list of go to places, while I am glad we made it to this one its not something to make plans around......but if you are walking around town and pass it by its worth walking threw....only took us about 20 mins to look at everything.

Public space nicely adorned with weird large statues that give a whimsical feel, along with some water features and modern art, gives this several block long space a bit of something for everyone in the family in downtown St. Louis.

A lovely spot. Great spout fountain area which I am sure children will enjoy in summer, well laid out areas and fun and quirky sculptures.

We loved this park. The Fall colours were beginning to show, the water features were peaceful, the sculptures are varied and interesting. I liked the two large white rabbits! Not to be missed.

My family and I traveled to St Louis this past week and one of our last stops was at the City garden, although the fountain pool was closed for the season, it still is a lovely place.

Thank Angie S
