this place rocks. the parents will have as much fun as the kids. lots of fun to be had for everyone.
We visited with our 6 & 7 year old grandsons. They had a blast climbing and being able to touch everything. They especially liked the forensic lab and climbing through the duct work! The beanstalk was cool too.
Visitors in 2010 might be interested to know that the latest traveling exhibit for kids focuses on Recycling or "going green". There is a really neat area set up where kids can see a Smart Car up close, go to a Farmer's Market to learn about how excess packaging ends up in landfills, visit the Reuse It shop to see... More
I brought my son who is 13 mths old. Although there was a section intended for toddlers, it was a small area. He ran around a bit but we all got bored about 20 min. in. We paid $23.00 for all 3 of us and I don't think that was worth 30 min. of exploring. I highly discourage paying if... More
We visted the Magic House with family who live in the area. Our kids aged from 20 months to 10 years old. The magic house offered so many different things for the kids to do, all exhibits offered something for all ages. The exhibits were educational and fun! This place was a bargin, $8.50 a person!
This is a great concept. We went on a rainy day, which was perfect, GO EARLY before the crowds hit. My son had a wonderful time in the toddler areas. We were there for about 3 hours, and he was completely wiped out by the time we finished. The water table is amazing - he could have stayed there all... More
This museum is a wonderful experience for children, however gets over-crowded at times. Limited parking availability is also an issue. If you time your visit just right you can get the free, on-site parking and enjoy a quieter time.
THe renovated Magic House has awesome areas for Toddlers to Teenagers. Plan to stay ALL day!!

I visited 20 years ago as a child and thought it was for 'older' kids - but after a friend's constant raving, took my toddler and preschooler and WOW is all I can say. There is SO much to do - it is a different experience each time... More
