Every grand parent MUST bring their little ones here. Eyes pop wide open as they experience so many learning things. From making their own pretend pizza, to taking care of sick babies, to being a Veterinarian. Many many activities for them.

Be warned - there are LOTS of kids, but LOTS to do. Plan on staying the day. So much interactive things for youngsters. If you go online there is a coupon - buy one adult tickets then child gets in free. Just put Magic House St. Louis in the search engine.

It is perhaps the best children's museum I've ever been to, including Denver and the SF bay area. There are areas for babies/infants, and then there are wonderful places to learn and explore for older school age children. There are also great things for adults to do and learn alongside with their kids. There are multiple slides, "hidden" areas, great... More

This is a great place for kids to explore with tons of stuff to do. Our grandchildren love it. Their favorite things are climbing the giant beanstalk, the three-story corkscrew slide, the electrostatic generator, and the fish pond. They can easily spend half a day here. The only problem is that lots and lots of other kids and other families... More

For as much as I've heard this is the place to go, I was totally shocked and really disappointed with the whole experience. Waaay too many people let inside and mostly broken exhibits with little to actually do hands on with my son. One of the worst children museums I have visited in the United States. Make sure you have... More

What a great place. I took my three year old and as soon as we made it to the front door, I looked down at the map, and POOF! - he was gone. He ran smiling nonstop the entire time only stopping to explore and learn. It was great to see him actively engaged and experientially educated in a well... More

Great place to let children's minds run wild. Lots of things to see and more than enough to keep the kids busy. Went on 1/9 in the early afternoon for the first time, my grandson had a blast. Unfortunately I did not allocate enough time, because he could have stayed all-day. Around every corner there was something new to see,... More

The Magic House is a long-established Kirkwood attraction / tradition as a great place to go with children. Originally located in an old house that was the Kirkwood Schools Administration building, it has now expanded to encompass most of the block adding more and more interesting and instructional attractions for children of all ages. As you might expect, it can... More
