Tons of fun and lots of activities. Kids are having fun while learning. What a large, sprawling complex but it is easy to get through. Can be crowded at times. Employees are friendly and do a good job keeping the place clean and picked up. Almost everything is working most of the time. Some special events come and go. There... More

Lots of activities, lots of fun! Very well laid out, crowded but quite interesting. Be careful not to get caught up in the activities too much and forget about your kids.....just kidding! While we were there they were having a Chinese festival and our 6 year old got to participate I the dragon parade. Must see!

I took my four children, ages 5-10, to The Magic House during spring break. There were exhibits to make everyone happy. There was tons of factual information to learn and even more opportunities for creative play. The facility was very clean, and the employees were constantly picking up and straightening to keep the play areas neat and ready for the... More

If you have little ones you must go here. Adults will like the history of the house and reading the historical events of the original owners. Lots of fun things to do. Lots of learning. Very much worth the $10 fee. Very clean. 99% of all things were in working order. Well maintained.

Lots to see and good place for elementary aged kids and under. Clean and mostly all is indoors and climate controlled. Cant remember fee but do remember thinking the city museum seemed like a better value for what you received. Still would recommend and would likely go back.

We brought our children here for the New Year's Eve party (ball drop at noon rather than midnight!) and we had a BLAST! There is a ton to do, and everything was very enjoyable and child-friendly! This place is CLEAN too! The bubble room is really fun, and our daughter enjoyed the Native American displays in the basement. There is... More

My husband wanted to take our older kids to the Arch, but I didn't think the younger ones would enjoy this, so I just grabbed at the first thing that looked a little interesting to kill some time. It was their favorite part of our whole vacation - maybe mine too. It is self-guided so the kids spent as much... More

Lots for the kids to see and do. Plan on noisy fun atmosphere. Exhibits are to be used, handled and enjoyed. Giant indoor slide, static electricity orb. Only complaint is some odor in area near slide as if there has been multiple "accidents" from children and it just can't quite be cleaned up

I took 3 grandchildren here last week on a mini spring break holiday to St. Louis. We spent 4 hours, and they would have easily spent 6 if I hadn't moved them on from activity to activity. The children I had were ages 5, 7, and 9, and I (63) also greatly enjoyed many of the activities. There are rooms... More

A children's museum inside an old mansion. We have been going here for 30 years. I enjoyed it as a,kid and my kids enjoyed it on our trip. You have to get your picture with the static electricity thing. You can get your picture on a keepsake button. It's fun to go back and compare them years later.
