If you want to climb around, get active with your kids or are a big kid at heart, we're the place. If you get freaked out easily, you might not want to come. We’re four floors filled with miles of tunnels, a full cave system, over 30 slides, a circus, an arts area, a large outdoor climbing space, Architectural Museum, a Cabin that serves adult beverages, a Museum of Mayhem, Mirth and Mystery, and a ton more. Also, there’s the roof with a Ferris Wheel and a bus hanging off its edge. Finally, just so you’re aware, The World Aquarium is not part of City Museum, but a non-profit located within us. There is an additional charge to go in their space. « less

If you have kids, don't go to St Louis without visiting City Museum. Tons of stuff to do and reasonably priced as well. You can easily spend a whole day here and they do allow you to leave and come back in the same day.

This place is a blast. Its like walking into bizarre-world. It is easy for kids to get lost. I had four 12 year olds and they stuck together. As an adult, I climbed through the stuff with them and went down the 10 story slide. We were there 6 hours and didn't see all of it. I'd go back.

A great place to take your children. They get to run around for hours with all types of exhibits and learning opportunities. Get a ticket for the roof for the ferris wheel and the ten story slide on the way down.

We just spent an entire day at this museum from 9:30 am to 10pm. (with a break for dinner). There is so much to do here. There are tunnels, slides, and things to climb. There was a huge area to swing on ropes across. The roof area is worth the extra $5 with slides, a bus to climb in that... More

We went with our 7 year old niece, and we all had a blast! Climbing and crawling through all of the tunnels and crevices in the cave area was awesome. Bring some kind of knee pads if you plan on doing that. Going to the roof was fun as well as climbing up to the airplane. The giant slide was... More

Great place to explore for teens and tweens especially during the winter months. They are open late on Saturday night.

Whether you have kids or not, this is a place to visit. Spend a couple of hours exploring the caverns and take a ride down the 3,5 or 10 story slides.

My kids and I absolutely love this place. We have been here plenty of times and defiantly will go back time and time again. I do suggest knee pads because there is a lot of crawling and climbing. The prices are very reasonable and there is so much to do so plan on spending the whole day. They do up... More

Overall, we had an "ok" time. It wasnt our first trip, but it was our first time bringing our toddler. There wasnt a lot he could do. The toddler land they have seemed sort of out dated. The balls in the ball pit were deflated and dirty. The area seemed very thrown together last minute. If he were older, we... More
