Owner description: Don’t take the name so literally. We're about fun. Not your white walls, walk around, and be quiet museum. If you want to climb around, get active with your kids or are a big kid at heart, we're the place. If you get freaked out easily, you might not want to come. We’re four floors filled with miles of tunnels, a full cave system, over 30 slides, a circus, an arts area, a large outdoor climbing space, Architectural Museum, a Cabin that serves adult beverages, a Museum of Mayhem, Mirth and Mystery, and a ton more. Also, there’s the roof with a Ferris Wheel and a bus hanging off its edge. Finally, just so you’re aware, The World Aquarium is not part of City Museum, but a non-profit located within us. There is an additional charge to go in their space.

If you want to try something new and different this is the place. Endless rooms with unique concepts and kid activities! There is even a small bar that adults can drift away too! There is an outdoor area featuring a ferris wheel that is on the ROOF!

This place is so much fun! I recommend visiting with a group of friends or family - it could still be a fun place to visit with one other person - but it's even more fun with a group of people. There are parts of the museum that seem a bit dangerous for people who aren't careful. The last time... More

I've never seen the city museum advertise and people coming from out of town usually don't know about it. It is a product of a mans imagination with no bounds in an old several story high warehouse. With a bus hanging half way off the roof ready for your exploration to the airplane attainable by climbing through an open metal... More

Love it love it love it. Been here three times and will be returning. Wish it was a little cheaper as we have five kids but its an excellent thrilling experience and an adrenaline rush for some of us.

My kids and I had a blast here, especially scaling the outdoor climbing structures. The taller ones are not for those with a fear of heights like my six year old, but my eight year old loved them all. I would definitely go back again.

You could spend days here and still not see or do everything this place has to offer. My son loved it. Wish we would have been here when it was warmer so he could have gone on the roof. Great time!

Great place in St. Louis to take your kids, and the parents won't be bored. There are plenty of tunnels and mazes for the kids to crawl through and explore and a really fun circus act to watch while you're there.

#1 wear shoes #2 having fun is mandatory!!! This place is awesome. Sooooo many things to go out and see. I highly recommend wearing shoes, knee pads (sold in gift shop for $3), and clothes to move in like sweatpants and long sleeve shirt. With all the crawling and climbing you do, wearing comfy clothes is a must. There is... More

It was pretty neat. We didn't take advantage of the whole thing because I didn't want to wear knee pads and you definetly need them. Other than the crawling around it was ok.
