Description: Don’t take the name so literally. We're about fun. Not your white walls...
Don’t take the name so literally. We're about fun. Not your white walls, walk around, and be quiet museum. If you want to climb around, get active with your kids or are a big kid at heart, we're the place. If you get freaked out easily, you might not want to come. We’re four floors filled with miles of tunnels, a full cave system, over 30 slides, a circus, an arts area, a large outdoor climbing space, Architectural Museum, a Cabin that serves adult beverages, a Museum of Mayhem, Mirth and Mystery, and a ton more. Also, there’s the roof with a Ferris Wheel and a bus hanging off its edge. Finally, just so you’re aware, The World Aquarium is not part of City Museum, but a non-profit located within us. There is an additional charge to go in their space.

If you are adventurous this is the place for you. We visited with four adults and 3 kids with ages ranging from 4-12. The 4 year old did everything with her dad which pushed a lot of limits for the moms. The 12 year olds were in heaven since they were able to climb high and run free. If you... More

Have to see to believe. Places to climb and crawl and art to look at. Nothing like it anywhere else. Not for tiny kids. Food and beer available.

It is possibly the most imaginative, interactive, and stunning art museum in the country. You will never find another museum like this. It is impossible to describe, except to say you will want to go back.

This is one place you have to see. There is so much to do, it's everything hands on. The kids can touch almost everything, there is multiple levels in this building. This is another" wear your walking shoes". There is roof top actives as well. They do have an elevator which is nice when you have a stroller.

We stopped in St. Louis on our way to Florida. We caught a Cardinals game and needed something to do the next day. Friends said I had to take the family to City Museum. All I can say is that my kids (11 and 18) loved it and so did my wife and I. We had a blast climbing in... More

The spiral slides were what we went there fore, but was blown away by how much awesome stuff there was. it felt like you were taken into other worlds every time you went into... More
