This area is run down. I would go after sundown. There is a ton of trash around. I think it is more of a hang out for druggies and drinkers.

My husband grew up in St. Joe and it was my first trip there, so he was showing me around.. Upon arrival he was very disappointes in how run down it had become. Reminded me of a good place to get mugged. Junkies and rif raf hanging about. I would say keep away!

I lived in St. Joe when Riverfront park was built, when you could go there and get on a paddle-boat to take a ride on the river! This was one of the most fun things there ever was to do in St. Joe... Unfortunately, the riverboat gave way to a casino, which shortly after moved upstream and became a larger... More

Concrete sidewalks allow for a beautiful walk or bike along the banks of the Missouri River. Bring your binoculars for you might glimpse bald eagles or waterfowl along the way!

We have been down here a few different times. Each time almost there have been some unsavory people there. It's in an industrial area that is mostly rundown and closed. There also used to be a riverboat attraction there that is long gone and now just has trash and graffiti. The side of the trail by the nature center and... More

If you are in the mood for a brisk walk, this is a good place to go. The part located by the casino is quite far from St. Joseph, so do not attempt to walk there from downtown. We made our walk in the evening, as the sun was going down, and the reflections in the mighty Missouri were impressive.... More

A great spot to go for a walk and the sights of St. Jo ! We even saw a porcupine along the way. I imagine it would prettiest in spring or fall.

It's worth the visit if you have never been there before, we loved the fountains and the river with the boat ride as well as the walking and shoping.

The park was difficult to find and difficult to get to on foot. We had to walk through a rather rundown industrial area and cross several train tracks to get there. It doesn't appear to be well maintained. There are some things that make a visit worthwhile. There was a very nice walking/biking trail that we enjoyed. There are also... More
